Heading to GEEKFEST 2009 (Mexicali B.C. - Mexico) this coming weekend. We will be premiering it at the growing festival in my birth town. Goodtimes! We will bring back pictures, eat plenty of Chinese food and above all, have an awesome time!

Screening!

Tomorrow night the short will be screened for its first audience. As of now, audio is fairly complete. Color correction is still a work in progress. A motion artist is now on board for a digital intermediate. And voila, done!

Why not begin with this?

The piece is currently in post-production. Final edit is locked, audio work is being done, and most of the score has been written! More production photos coming, some behind the scenes as well as cast and crew commentaries. And of course, the video itself will be here for your enjoyment pleasures.

El Regreso de El Diablo (The Return of the El Diablo), is a movie-film short about MANY things - but if I had to sum it up, with one word, then it would have to be a Spanish word: DOLOR.

There is, as of yet... no word that could describe dolor in English.
