If each of the Malay words read separately, the Chinese translation is more or less matching the meanings. However, when we put them into a sentence, the Chinese translation is such a bullshit. Nobody in the world use Chinese language such a manner and nobody will be able to understand the meanings correctly.

It is such an embarrassing incident for all Malaysian. We have again, create a joke for the world to laugh at. How can it be for such a big event, the government agency have done this mistake? The fella is suspected to have copied and pasted the outcome he/she got from Google translate without further verification with other person that well verse in Chinese.

And this whole piece of work, had been sent for printing, and eventually put into action without any further quality assurance. Nobody in the whole chain seem to be aware of such a big error.

I do not agree to blame on only 1 or 2 person. Such an error can only be happening because of the whole country is in problem. What problem do we have? We are not bothering about QUALITY. The person who assign somebody to do the work is not bothering to check the work. The person who do the work do not bother to do more to ensure the quality of his/her work.

It is the culture that the whole country is living seem to be wrong. We are living in negligence. We neglect QUALITY and IMPORTANT DETAILS. If such a culture is not corrected, we are going no where but a failed state sooner or latter.

What a good government we have.

The latest effort is, the government will form an independent evaluation committee to conduct a risk assessment of the plant operation.

It is a good move indeed. Nobody has to doubt the need of doing such assessment.

However, why is that not done earlier? If we have done it earlier, then we do not need to waste so much of time debating about the project.

Why it is not done earlier as part of the preliminary requirement for the permit to be awarded to Lynas? And make them responsible for the cost incur? The government is now forced to conduct the assessment but still, who is going to pay for it? The people?

What if, the assessment derive into a conclusion that the plant is exposing the people to unacceptable risk? How are we going to carry along with the company? Are we stop them from operation while they have already granted permit to build the factory? It will then for sure, involving lawsuits and compensation have to be paid. Who is going to foot the bill for all these? Again, the people?

From many angle, we try to be positive about the development. We try to believe that before the various government agencies give the green light for the company to start the project, they had put people’s welfare at the first priority. Can we stay positive now? I see the positive point is, when people’s voice is loud enough, we can improve the way government making decisions. We can make them aware that they are the servant and do not make fool of us. A lot of things, we do not need a rocket scientist to tell whether it is good or bad for public welfare.

So when you look at everything happening around you, be sure to feel the happiness out of it. When you convey your idea to other people, always use positive words and tone. You will be feeling happier from time to time and more good thing will come to you.

That means, I am not going to write bad thing about our government anymore. Instead, I will try to find more good things to write about. Let see whether it change our country and our world then.
