During the spring board meeting on May 6th, 2025, of Eagle Sky Foundation, Inc., Timothy R Huddleston was elected to become the President of Eagle Sky of the Ozarks Christian Challenge Camp and Conference Center (ESO). Tim will be joined by his wife, Teresa, who will be an active member of the ESO team. They plan to work remotely until housing can be constructed at ESO. They will begin their new position effective July 1st, 2025.

Dr. McKean, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Eagle Sky Foundation, Inc., said, “The appointment of Tim Huddleston as President is a new position at ESO. He will be working closely with the Eagle Sky Foundation Board of Directors to address macro issues such as Governance, Corporate Structure, Sustainability, Mission Drift, Production, long-range planning, Legacy, Community engagement, and other issues that are broader than just the operation of ESO.”

Mr. Huddleston possesses extensive leadership experience, having spent over 20 years successfully guiding multiple nonprofits after transitioning from a career in the business sector. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is recognized for his relationship-oriented and visionary leadership style. He, along with his wife Teresa, has four children and thirteen grandchildren.

Tim will be joined by his wife, Sophia, who will be an active member of the ESO team. They plan to relocate to ESO June 1st, 2025.

Dr. McKean, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Eagle Sky Foundation, Inc., said, “The appointment of Tim Hughes will bring a new era of management and leadership to the team at Eagle Sky”. Mr. Hughes has almost 30 years of involvement in the Christian Camping ministry. Raised in Kentucky, where his father was Executive Director of Schafer Baptist Camp for 29 years, Tim is carrying on his father’s legacy having served at four Christian camps, the most recent being Alto Frio in Texas. He further expanded his management and leadership skills as Physical Plant Director at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology where he managed a team of more than fifty staff.

Tim and Sophia’s family includes: Jake, his wife Christa, Josh, and Seth as well as twin grandsons, Indigo Wisdom and Hazel Justice.

During The Eagle Sky Foundation Fall Board Meeting on October 4, 2024, Executive Director Greg Graham and his wife, Human Resources Director Linda Graham, announced their decision to retire.  They submitted their letters of resignation to the Board.  The Grahams have had several medical challenges over the past few years, which made keeping up with their responsibilities increasingly difficult.  Greg explained, “The Camping Ministry is unique because it is a 24/7/365 commitment, living next door to many of your staff and managing dynamic programs.  It takes a lot of time and energy.”

Dr. McKean, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Eagle Sky Foundation, said, “The Board accepted the Graham’s decision and resignations.”  The Board expressed their appreciation and best wishes to the Grahams.   Since they will be moving closer to their children and grandchildren, many of the Board members could relate personally to their decision.

The Grahams joined the Eagle Sky Team in 2018.  During their tenure, Eagle Sky has experienced explosive growth and has survived the COVID years.  In addition, Eagle Sky has become well-known throughout the United States in the camping industry.  McKean commented that he “well remembered receiving their application.”  It was a true answer to prayer.  They brought a broader depth of experience in the Christian Camping industry to Eagle Sky.

The Board will immediately begin a search for a new Executive Director.  Much prayer, time, and energy will go into this search.  McKean explained, “Finding the next Executive Director will be the single most important decision this Board will ever make.”
