Theme makes a cell phone looks unique and different than the others. With the theme, color settings, wallpaper, ringtones and other settings can be packaged into a single file. And know it’s easier to do that with a simple click. You can easily find millions of free theme on the Internet. There are available in many colors, models, types and designs. Select it according to your taste and download it to your phone memory via data cable or bluetooth.

Problem came when users getting bored easily. Changing the theme become a bother, because intermittent must find and activate the theme files manually. Especially if they saved a hundreds of themes saved in the memory.

• On Friday at 5 pm and Sunday is theme weekend.
• Every night at 10 on the active theme shows sexy actresses.

There is no limit for theme changing setting that can be done per day. You are free to arrange as they pleased. If the conditions have been set to be altered or disabled, you can also easily set in each rule. Rule can be set to change the theme as much as one-time or repetition by day, week or month. To prevent a schedule overlap, the priority rule applied. Every rule made will be displayed on the main screen applications.

Indonesian Bloggers have a party! Yup, today Saturday (24/10) at SMESCO building, Gatot Subroto Street, Jakarta, from common people to famous artists join together, without limitation social strata. Everyone in one spirit, “One Sprit One Nation”  the official theme of Pesta Blogger 2009.

Microsoft finally released Windows Phone simultaneously in 20 countries, as the official successor of Windows Mobile. Indonesia became one of the first countries that enjoy various new smartphone with this platform.

Windows Phone comes with lot of new features, such as the latest Windows Live that already equipped with feeds and photo sharing via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and Flickr. Internet Explorer Mobile also already supports Adobe Flash Lite. In addition, Outlook Mobile, Microsoft Office Mobile, and My Phone are available to manage data storage.

Windows Marketplace for Mobile is the freshest feature, just like BlackBerry App World and Apple Store this marketplace also provide various applications for social networking services, like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Netflix, Twikini, WunderRadio, and Zagat. You can also find many famous games in here, such as Revenge of the Fallen, Sudoku, Transformers and Pac-man.

Recently released a brand new BlackBerry Storm2 couple times ago, Research In Motion (RIM) re-released a new BlackBerry model named Onyx. Smartphone with BlackBerry Bold official name of this 9700 is the revised version of predecessor, BB Bold 9000 who looked fat and still stiff.

The general features are not carrying much different from the first generation, but we can find the difference on the smaller design, thinner, and looks more elegant than the previous Bold. In addition, Onyx uses a trackpad optical navigation no longer a trackball. Camera capability also increased and so did the memory.

Another difference is the increased of battery life. If the first Bold could only survive up to 4 hours of talk time and 10 days standby, Onyx is uses 1500 mAh batteries and able to survive up to 6 hours talk time and 15 days when used in standby mode in 3G network.

The latest BlackBerry 5.0 operating systems implanted on Onix,. It also supports Desktop Manager for PC and Mac. Other features carried by Onyx are including 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, WiFi, 256 MB of internal memory and microSD memory card slot.

Among the BlackBerry series, Bold is the most qualified series which has the completeness of connectivity features. Onyx is designed to meet the needs of enterprise communications services, because it’s fully support the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service server standards. In terms of connectivity, Onyx also supports data access through HSDPA. However, seems that Onyx only available for GSM network and only available for U.S market at the present.

For the first time, Google’s Android software extended the e-reader device after smartphones and netbooks. The software is used on the Nook, the e-book reader which made by a leading bookstore in the U.S., Barnes & Noble, which officially launched on Tuesday (20/10).

The collaboration also marked as the cooperation between Google and Barnes & Noble to distribute digital versions of books from major university libraries. Nook users can access amounted to hundreds of thousands digital books for free.

With the Android support, Nook is not only able to access e-book but also a variety of file formats such as PDF, EPUB, eReader, MP3, PNG, JPG, and GIF. So, in addition to reading the book, users also can both listen to music through the headphone jack or provided speakers.

Nook comes with 3.5 inch wide touch screen. Screen area is divided into two parts, navigation areas that can display color images and reading area can only display in black and white. On the navigation area at the bottom of the screen, Nook offering the menu that present colored book jacket photo. With the menu, users also could bookmark the fave pages, highlights, or add notes at any time if needed.

To store a lot of files, Nook is fully equipped by 2 GB of internal memory and expandable with SD memory card. This device can directly access the Internet through 3G cellular networks and WiFi. Nook also offering long-lasting battery that claimed to stand 2-10 hours charging time depends on the features used. Batteries can also be removed so that it can be replaced at any time. To charge the battery is also be done with a USB cable via computer.

Nook is the new comer and the serious contender on the e-reader business who first pioneered by Sony and Amazon.com. Is it Nook will be able to compete with other e-reader? We’ll see!

Following the steps of Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, known as the largest bookstore in United States also released an e-reader. Electronic book reader device (e-book) made by companies headquartered on Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, U.S. This device has released with the name of Nook, Tuesday (20/10).

Nook arrives with a touch screen and colorful control buttons, while the reading area is still in black and white. Selling price is 259 U.S. dollars, equivalent to the price of the latest edition of Kindle. Nook uses electronic ink technology which also used by Kindle. This device will be sold online through the www.nook.com starting on last October.

It wasn’t a sudden step for Barnes & Noble entering the e-book business. Since July, the company has opened stores online bookstore at BN.com website and has sold digital editions of books can be read on devices made by Apple’s iPhone and the BlackBerry, including PCs and laptops.

As reported by the New York Times, Nook can access more than a million titles of books, archives newspapers, and magazines. In fact, more than 500,000 books available at BN.com can be downloaded free of charge. Free books are the result of collaboration with Google through a project with a number of renowned universities. The books are so far not available for Kindle.

E-book market today is still relatively small but rapidly growing experience. Based on data Codex Group, consultant publishing companies, the number of the owner of the e-reader will be doubled from 1.6 million people in late August to 3.8 million by the end of this year.

In addition to Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com and Sony first entered the business e-reader. Asus is also said to follow. Similarly, iRex and Plastic Logic are developing flexible electronic display technology.

Reading an e-book would be comfortable as reading a conventional book with a new concept that introduced by Asus. Taiwanese electronics vendor that makes the e-book reader with two faces screen display like a book. The screens size is also equal with the standard notebooks.

Two screens are made side by side, the function is to read an e-book and display two consecutive pages could also function separately. One is for reading books and other screens to access the Internet or view a virtual keyboard for typing.

Asus says the device is designed more versatile and functional than an e-book reader on the market such as Sony e-Reader and the Amazon Kindle. In fact, Asus said it will equip it with a webcam, speakers, and microphone to make internet phone. Enough memory capacity to store hundreds of digital books and displays the text quality is much more clearly than most laptop LCD.

“Our ethos is innovation. Because of our brand so well known yet, we must pursue more quickly than competitors to develop the kinds of new products,” the statement reported by Asus as the Times Online. Not only innovative, products that will be named the Eee Reader will also be released with affordable prices though Asus is also planning to provide a premium version which is more expensive. The reader will be sold for around 100 Euros. Eee Reader will be available starting by the end of this year.

One the previous, we already talking about Apple Tablet rumors that will came on September-October this year. Naturally there is still no confirmation from Apple about these rumors until now. Much information that spread all over the internet says that this device is not a new line of product category from Apple, but this is the continuation product from iPod.

Yesterday NewsFactor reported that Apple Tablet will be like a big iPod Touch, estimated price between $500 and $700, will probably include 3G and be subsidized by a carrier like Verizon or AT&T, and planned to be sell in around two million units next year. That’s scenario painted Friday by Piper Jaffray senior analyst from Gene Munster. In a report to clients, he wrote that his company has spoken last week “with an Asian component supplier that has received orders from Apple for a touch-screen device” scheduled for delivery in late 2009.

Barron’s and other mainstream publications also confirming this rumor, contends that Apple’s tablet will feature a 10-inch touchscreen, WiFi, 3G networks capabilities and customized ARM processor. Further information from CrunchPad also says that this tablet is designed primarily for Web surfing and media views. Unlike Apple’s rumored product, Arrington from TechCrunch has been open about his plans to release the product, possibly this summer.

Financial Times reported that Apple is preparing to launch a new gadget on September 2009, but the other source says that this gadget will be launched on October 2009. This new line-up of Apple product is called Apple tablet.

This tablet will equipped by 9,7 inch touchscreen display, wi-fi connectivity, using a brand new iPhone OS  and come without a cell connection. While other features sounds like the Apple tablet’s video capability is the feature to beat. The anonymous source says the device’s video quality “is better than the average movie experience.”

This product might be a new contender for Amazon kindle, because there are any other gossip that says Apple is in the middle of collaboration with famous recorded company and Book publisher to enhance the Apple iTunes services. With this tablet, Apple will provide online ebook store on their iTunes. Apple tablet would be priced 30%-50% below the $999 MacBook and above the iPhone.

Is it a fact or just rumors? Till now, there is no confirmation from Apple officially. But I believe that this rumor will be a fact because many famous blog like Gizmodo, Wired, PC world, Barrons and Marshable already publish this story.
