Since 1985, I had suffered mild to severe bouts with back pain, some requiring me to miss several weeks of work. Over the past five years as a retired person, I have been forced to curtail activities such as golf, long walks and even playing with my grandson. The latter was the last straw. I have been getting temporary relief at Alliance Pain Centers, but the condition reached a point where x-rays and an MRI confirmed I would be a prime candidate for the DRX9000. After several treatments, the pain began to gradually lessen and by the final treatment, I was 95% pain free. I can honestly say, my back has never felt better in ten years and my grandson loves having his horsey back in action. I cannot say more about the treatment I have received at Alliance where I was made to feel a part of the family, not just merely a patient.

I have had numerous injections over the past 7 or 8 years. Doctors have counseled me to have more injections and also have tried to convince me to have a spinal cord stimulator installed. The DRX9000 Spinal Decompression has been the most help I’ve had for lower back pain. If you are patient and follow the guidelines the end results are fantastic. I have before, and I will certainly in the future recommend this procedure to anyone I know with lower back pain.

I went to Alliance Pain Centers because I had constant lower back pain and was starting to limp (right leg). I read about the DRX9000. Dr. Stafford was the first doctor to explain to me what was causing my pain and he was the first to recommend an “MRI” not just X-rays. I feel about 80-85% better – I can sleep through the night again for the first time in years. I am not limping and have no pain in my right leg. I had not played golf for about 3 months – First time out I broke “80” – only second time I have done that. That night I did not have to pop pain pills to get to sleep! I enjoy playing again without next day consequences.

I started with Alliance Pain Centers and the DRX9000 after other forms of treatment provided no relief. For several years I have had a problem with my back. I went to numerous Doctors who were specialists in different fields. Finally, I went to a Doctor and got an MRI and was told I had a severe degenerative lumbar disc and the only recommendation he had was surgery.
