Thanks for this @Katfia! You mentioned Ji Sung's "Secret Love" (2013) with Hwang Jung Eun, and my craving for this KDrama- classic, kicked in again, so now it's on my next-watch list. I've seen it three times & used it yrs ago as a KDrama gateway introduction for friends). It's a rom-com, but also has a lot of tense emotions as we watch Ji Sung's hate of Hwan Jung Eum for killing his fiancé unfold. The story is a masterpiece of 'revenge redemption' that slowly morphs from blind hate into a fascination with hurting her, but then slowly this obsession slips into a grudging respect for how she reacts to his emotional torture and then finally, his fractured perspectives about her push past all his boundaries and into love. Definitely a red flag character that turns green. Such a cleverly-written story and a well-layered role; and of course, Ji Sung is excellent at 'inhabiting' all his characters like he did in "Kill Me Heal Me" (2015) in which, as a company executive and a replacement CEO, he gets help from a psychiatric nurse to keep his dissociative identity disorder from being revealed to his stakeholders & employees. It's actually a rom-com but also covers how hard it would be to have your core identity splinter into seven personalities. Both of these old classics have kept solid 9.5** & 9.6 ** rating since being released in 2013 and 2015 which says a lot because you wouldn't expect older ones to age well enough to keep new fans upvoting or even watching these 'old but gold' dramas that thankfully, viki has stored for us in its huge entertainment vault.

My theory is not that two souls are sharing one body, like you said that would not work. But that one soul is inhabiting two bodies across different timelines and its not a transmigration but a reincarnation situation. I think its possible Seo-Ri and Dan-shim are the same person, and her memories of her modern life have been affected. That would be the easiest way for the lead couple to be together in the end. If its two souls like in every time travel drama one will get the short end of the stick in the end.
But we’ll soon find out.

having these thoughts... in kdramas students are always desperate for academic success. but who drives it really? we see the moms mostly focused on competition and often putting brutal pressure on the kids but is it? moms are just stuck with the organising and the arrangements, but is it not the dads ?
or the society. why demonise the students more
