Trick or Treat at Cards for Men

It's been a long time since I've managed a project for Cards for Men but this really was a quick one. The sponsor is The Paper Shelter and the beauty of the digis from them is that you get pre-coloured included for free!

I chose to use a pre-coloured sheet of tags and toppers called 'Trick or Treat'. You get 2 A4 sheets for $1.75 (usually $2.50) with lots of different ideas. I quickly printed out a sheet, added the tag to a piece of folded card and stuck it to the top of my goodie bag. Easy Peasy.

That's been the most common sound in my house lately with the school holidays. But for the challenge over at Cards for Men we're looking for the Tags of a crafting type. Either a Tag or a card with a tag on it, is required to enter. The prize on offer is a $10 gift certificate to spend at Fresh Brewed Designs.

I made a tag to go with a Trick or Treat sweetie bag and also a small card to go with it.

As I write this post, it's almost midnight although quite a way from Halloween yet. Over at Simply Betty Stamps, Betty is mad about Halloween though and has set a great Facebook Fan Challenge. If you're early enough you can get an image free to use but you must use it in the challenge, only fair I think. The image is now available to buy, Mercedes Witch, and the challenge runs to September 13th.

Here's my card:

I've coloured the image using promarkers. The background paper is Basic Grey and I've used a bit of web ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.

This week at Cards for Men we have a BINGO Board challenge and here's my DT card:

I'm not sure what the stamped image is because I bought a few of these stamps second hand. The background paper is from Fancy Pants and I've coloured my image using my promarkers. The twine, tags and ticket punch/stamps are all from Stampin Up and the charm is from Whiff of Joy.

This is my card for the challenge over at Cards for Men. It should have been on here last week, but I've been swamped, so although the card was made on time, my post wasn't. The challenge still has a week to run, though and there's a great prize from The Paper Shelter.

The image I used is Happy Times - Baseball. The nice thing about the images at The Paper Shelter is that you also get a pre-coloured version and a background page. So if you are in a rush you can 'cheat'.I've coloured my image using promarkers. The backing paper is from Fancy Pants.

So, I've not been the best blogger of late - I've had very little mojo. Hopefully, I can get back on track now, and I'll start with my latest DT card for Cards for Men.

The challenge is sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps and there are two digis for one lucky winner. The image I've used is Gardening Gus which I've coloured with my promarkers. ...is what I intended to say but now it's a bit belated. Here is my DT card for Cards for Men which was meant to be posted on Monday but has been delayed since by youngest son has had a tummy bug and needed his mum.

I made this card at the same time as George's. We don't actually know this little girl but she was having a joint party with George so she got a card too. I made them both at the same time, hence, the similarities.

Another of my Stamping Boutique cards, this time a Good Luck (new job) theme.

The image is AJ the Chef and he's been coloured with promarkers. The cardstock, twine and sentiment are all Stampin Up. The charm is from Whiff of Joy and the designer paper is Basic Grey.
