Dear ABC,
My beloved of which holds a variety of my favorite shows, Grey's, Oprah, DH, etc...are you for equal oppurtunity on television?
I was just wondering since I have never seen a bachelor or bachelorette of any ethnicity besides caucasian. You mean to tell me that there are no Asian eligible bachelors? No black bachelorettes out there? And how come the winners of these shows are never a person of other cultural backgrounds, and the contestants that are will be booted off by the 3rd show?
I am also wondering how come there is no cultural diversity in Desperate Housewives? What kind of place is this where the only person of any other race was a black family that was housing a psycho special ed murderer in the basement for a few weeks?
What about the Soap Operas? Where are the non caucasion rich families?
And how come all of your gay characters are super flamboyant and rarely step out of the box of a super fabulous gay man. You mean to tell me that every gay person has to "look gay" and "act gay", and be male? I will only applaud All My Children for half assng its way through a lesbian storyline even though it moved faster than a RayJ of Love whore...ahem...i mean contestant.
Also, Barbara Walters is really old. Her Most Fascinating People special is boring. She asks the worst questions and has an odd speech impediment that makes me feel like I'm talking to my great great grandmother. That has nothing to do with the rest of this letter but I felt the need to add that. And also demand that you put me on The View as a co-host, because I love her.

I would like to say I am grateful for the following few reasons. Number one, Emma is rocking the same style of hat I have been rocking since this past spring with confidence that I was hot even though my sister keeps calling it a kitchen net. Hi hater. Secondly I am glad that Mr. Hot Teacher had finally discovered that his wife was not pregnant. I didn't want to believe that he was such an idiot that he wouldn't be suspicious of having never touched her belly in months even though his own flesh and blood was in there. I'd like to think that beauty comes with brains in this case.
I am also glad that Finn knows it's not his baby that his girlfriend is carrying...but his hot sexy best friend's. That's a dirty trick to play on a guy. A real dirty trick. Emphasis on real dirty trick.
I am also grateful for that kiss. Finally. Finally.

But mostlly glad about the hat thing. And the kiss. In that respective order.

Can't wait till the next season. Its going to be amazing.

Kidney Chains

I think Kidney Chains are a great idea. A chain is when a person who needs a kidney is hooked up with a stranger in exchange for a friend/family member's donation of their own kidney to another person on the chain. Sounds confusing but this particular case in the picture is the nation's first and longest kidney chain thus far. It helped save the lives of 20 people. Saving lives is an awesome idea.
There was a Grey's Anatomy episode that touched on the subject this season, if you are interested in getting more of an idea about how it works.

Trimming the Tree!

Christmas trees are a weird tradition. You take a big old tree from outdoors, or even more interesting - a fake one that's supposed too look like a tree from outdoors, and bring it indoors. Then we hang baubles and candy on it. How would you explain this to someone who wasn't aware or familiar with the tradition? Lol.

We trimmed our tree. I like that word. Trimmed. It's fancy. Anyways, it's a little Charlie Browny (like the scrimpy thing Chuck and the gang spoofed up in the show Merry Xmas Charlie Brown?), but it's ours.

My favorite part of the holidays is listening to Christmas music. In NY, I love 106 point whatever Lite FM. Feliz Navidad! Feliz Navidad! That's my jam, lol.
My fave xmas albums are the Jackson 5 xmas album and Mariah Carey's. Destiny Child's isn't horrible, and there's an Old Navy Xmas CD I bought one year that has a great mix of what I consider clssics. If you'd like to borrow any of them off me, let me know!

Judge Tells Joe To Shut the Hell Up and Sit Down!

Okay, so maybe the judge didn't tell him in those words exactly. You wouldn't believe it, or maybe you will, but Joe Jackson filed a 60 page motion accusing the overseers of Micheal Jackson's will of fraud. He claims that the overseers have "conflict of interest". I am certain that Joe is doing this because he is money hungry and bitter about not having been included in Micheal's will.
And because these are the judge's sentiments exactly, he dismissed the accusation, saying: "Joe Jackson takes none of this estate. This is a decision his son made", or in other words "Shut the hell up, Joe, and sit down!".

My question is, who would be better to manage the estate in Joe's opinion? Him? His personal financial advisors? Wouldn't that be a "conflict of interest" as well?
Shut the hell up, and sit down, Joe. You make no sense.

Sammy Sosa blames a rejuvenation process on his reason for his obviously lightened skin complexion. What kind of rejuvenation lightens someone up 8 shades? What type of toxins were laying beneath his skin? And how does that explain the green contacts?
Or are they blue? Since when did the rejuvenation process involve removing pigment from out of you?

Though I hope he's telling the truth, and turns back to his original gorgeous shade, I am on the look out for evidence of the disease of which ailed the late/great Michael Jackson, Lil Kim, and that lady that surgically turned her face into a cat's face.
People with this disease have delusions that they are doing certain expensive procedures to cure themselves of ailments that only they believe they have, such as an obstructed nostril canal, or droopy cheeks, and bronzed skin. They think that arming themselves with a skinnier nose, higher cheekbones, and lighter skin is making them healthier, all of which provokes a false sense of happiness, that may end of being treated with various medications.
The last stages of this disease include a fondness for medication of any kind, popping pills like it's just pez, talking like a child, odd fashion sense, and the desire to wear any colored contact besides brown.

The only cure is for people to not accept and allow this nonsense.
I will not accept this from Sammy Sosa.

But so far, it is just a rejuvenation process, right?

Someone other than me actually. And John Mayer.
Supposedly, fans have been walking out of the concert before it ended, and afterwards, complaining that she lipsynced the whole time.
While, I am all for complaining, these people deserve it. Why didn't they already know that's all Brit does? She has been doing nothing but performing a well choreographed group karaoke session for years. If you hear singing, it's the track playing from the back, and the brit-fan sitting next to you. And if you were duped into paying for a live show from Britney, you will just have to suffer the consequences of a "hard-of-hearing-lesson-learned". Ha! Get it?

Let's just cut to the chase. I find it really coincidental that you decided to "come clean" in via various media outlets right on the heel of releasing your album. And by "coincidental", I mean "blatant exploitation of a prior incident that you didnt want to talk about until it would benefit your album sales and provide monetary gains". Good marketing strategies sometimes make up for where you lack, like your vocals. At least you sing and dance live. (Janet Jackson should take note.)

I've listen to a few tracks, by the way, and you may need therapy.

Good for you, for dumping an abuser and speaking out against domestic abuse.
Don't let this shit happen again. This includes your last album. Got my fingers crossed for the next one, but I'm broke and cheap, so I will have to "borrow" it. And by "borrow" I mean....nevermind.

I had no idea soccer was so lethal. Now I am especially glad that I failed that lesson in gym class. Actually, I failed pretty much every sport lesson in gym class, but this video justifies that.

Kicks to the face, blatant tripping, face slapping, back punching, and a ponytail pull that could snap a neck. Suddenly, the image of Heidi Spencer popped into my head, but that's another story for another day.

I don't condone violence, so don't get any funny ideas. Not even if it's Heidi. Or Jon Gosselin.

So...if you know anything about me, you would know that I was a hardcore Sesame Street fanatic when I was...um...younger than now. The amusement park, Sesame Place, was heaven to me. I used to pretend to be Super Grover. When I first started putting sentences together, I spoke like Cookie Monster. I read the books, I watched the show, I learned, and carried an Ernie doll everywhere with me. Like I said, I was, and still am a fan. (Don't tell anyone, but if I go through a store's toy section, I just about always walk through the Sesame Street aisle, and the Barbie aisle to reminisce and catch up with "old pals").

In honor of this birthday, I am sure Sesame Street will have a variety of celebs peek through and whatnot. And also in honor, Google is going to be featuring a different Sesame Street character on their home screen for the rest of the week.

P.S.- No matter what age you are, check out a classic SS video called "Follow That Bird". If you are of age, it's even better with a slight inebriation.

I barhopped my way to The Pour House on 11th street and 3rd avenue. Prices were decent. They had 2 areas, one played Light FM-ish, the other played more popular hiphop and R&B. Friendly Crowd.

I witnessed the aftermath of 2 fights on the way there. There was blood and not the fake kind.

I witnessed a couple having a full on makeout session in the street. We watched because it was kinda hot, but then it got boring.

I am so excited! I treated myself to a book, and its really good so far. I love when I pick up a good book. Its thick but can still fit in a medium sized purse decently and still have room to reach your other crap. I started today but it captures you so, I am about a quarter through. Its called Madness, about a lady who is bipolar.

I read a horrible book a few weeks ago, called Conception. In a way it was cool how the author interprets the soul of a baby, but then not really. The end results were a letdown. With all the buildup, the climax was disappointing. Im not going to tell the end in case you might read it...unless you ask for it. Its about a 15 year old girl who gets pregnant and ponders whether she should keep it or not and soul of the conceived baby. It sounds interesting, doesn't it?

Know what was a really good book too? It was on Oprah's Book List one year: Middlesex
I was reluctant because I find most of her books she select, sort of boring. But this one was pretty good.

I didnt put the authors because I have bad memory. If you don't find it when you google it, feel free to send me a message and ask. I will figure it out for you.
