In the spirit of exploration, I decided to continue the explorers series this month. There is one point that all the guests I have interviewed have made and that is perseverance always wins. Don't give up. There is a way to make your dreams come true and if you don't know which way to turn then seek the guidance of those people who are doing what you want to do. If you don't get a favorable response from the first people you talk to keep on asking until you find someone who cares or who is interested in assisting you.

Dreams are important and if you let them die a part of your soul dies. Sure you may have to do thing you don't want to now because of circumstances but understand that it is a phase. I love hearing the stories of celebrities before they hit it big; these people don't give up or at least not permanently. When in pursuit of your dreams be willing to do what it takes to pursue your dreams and yes, that may mean doing tasks that you don't feel like doing. Pursue your dreams and burn bridges so that there is no other possibility but success or death. It sounds extreme until you way the cost of not having your dream. What is it costing you to live below your potential, to allow each day to be filled with the inane babble of everyday averageness. The soul is like a flower and it must be watered daily. Which metaphor are you a barren desert or a fertile verdant field?  

I love the vacations I've taken to Europe and this video reminds me so much of the great times I've had in Switzerland. So much of Europe reminds me of the Northeastern region of America. Switzerland's lake valley towns, vistas, majestic mountains and picturesque chalets are worth revisiting. Try the rail trips up the mountain and enjoy the beauty of the country side. It's absolutely amazing. I don't have any affiliation with the this company but I do enjoy this video and wanted to share it with you.

The explorers series has gone well this month and for next week I will be speaking to a fortune hunter for hire Billy Jamieson and a real life Indiana Jones Wade Davis. Billy Jamieson has a background in Amazonian tribal rituals. Bill has led 5 expositions to Ecuador and Peru and National Geographics has called upon his expertise for their documentaries. Bill has amassed a large collection of shrunken heads for the Schuar library and the largest collection of archival photos of the Schuar too.  Bill has taken an interest in other cultures and collected early ethnographic material from the Native cultures of North America, South America, South Pacific, Dayak of Borneo, Naga of the Highlands of India and Batak of Sumatra. Billy Jamieson's interview will be Monday, February 22 at 10 AM CST. 

Wade Davis is an an anthropologist and author of the book "The Wayfarers. Wade has had a long relationship as a National Geographics speaker. His career has lasted over 20 years. Wade has traveled to over 80 countries and believes there is much to learn from sacred of indigenous cultures. Wade will discuss the his travels and the urgency of losing 3500 languages and vanishing cultures in our lifetime. Wade's interview will be Tuesday, February 23 at 10 AM CST and will be in the archives. 

How does one become an explorer? According to the Milbry Polk of Wings World Quest, you begin by indulging your impulses. One of the most powerful statements that Milbry made is that most explorers don't start until late in life around their forties and they don't all have degrees. The professionals that I have interviewed for this series have been but don't allow the excuse of not having a degree stop you from making a difference in the world.

For the month of February Adrenaline Living Talk Show will feature some of the world's most famous explorers who have worked with National Geographics, prestigious museums and several are members of The Explorers Club.

Adrenaline Living Talk Show is a metaphor for life and the host of the show is Angelia Miller. For the month of February, the theme is explorers and I am interviewing some of the world’s most famous explorers, anthropologist, archaeologist, ethnographers and photographers living and working in some of the most remote locations in the world. They felt an impulse to study indigenous cultures, documenting their existence, while others have chosen to make documentary films about the ancient mysteries of the Bible, while others forage the depths of the ocean which has only been explored about 2 percent and hides within its depths the answers to our questions about lost nations and continents and still others are employed as treasure hunters for hire.
