Varieties of local desserts will include popular traditional Malay desserts like bubur kacang, bubur pengat and serawa durian among others.</p>
<p>The Ramadhan buffet at Maya Brasserie is available until 9 September 2010, from 6.45 –10.30 p.m. It is priced at RM80 per adult (Half price for kids between 5 – 12 years).</p>

Among other traditional dishes which diners can look forward to are pineapple prawn curry, kupang goreng kunyit, kari ayam Nyonya, ikan patin masak asam tempoyak and daging hiris goreng. Varieties of local desserts will include bubur kacang, bubur pengat and serawa durian amongst others.The Ramadhan buffet at Maya Brasserie is available from 11 August to 9 September 2010, from 6.45-10.30 p.m. It is priced at RM80 per adult (Half price for kids between 5 &#8211; 12 years and senior citizens above 60 years).</p>

<p>The menu offers many variations of fish, chicken, beef, prawn and squid. Of course sashimi, sushi, teriyaki and tempura all appear, but so do more exotic and curiously named dishes like Adam &amp; Eve 2007 (prawns and scallops in an apple case) or Kaki Gratin (tender oysters in creamy, melted cheese which is baked in a half shell).</p>
<p>For our appetizers, we especially enjoyed the Kaki Isoyaki (grilled oysters in seaweed sauce).<br />
Yoko’s No. 1 Roll is a delicious combination of eggs, veggies and fish eggs wrapped in seaweed and the Trio Colour Roll is a delightful combination of three kinds of sashimi with raya, mayonnaise, caviar, sliced avocado and cucumber. The Beef Teriyaki Steak is wonderfully tender and flavourful.</p>
<p>The Sushi and Sashimi combination platter is a best way to sample many of the delicacies of Japanese cuisine; it has, however, one drawback. Being so beautiful to look at, one is unwilling to destroy its symmetry. But don’t hesitate!</p>
<p>Tuesday and Saturday are Jazz nights, Wednesday and Thursday are reserved for pop and Sunday is a special night of Japanese Haoto music. It’s vwell worth a visit.</p>

<p>Cava gets its name from the Spanish Denominación de Origen (the geographic origin of a wine) of Cava, where sparkling wine is produced using the similar method as Champagne. The menu is influenced by Catalonian style cuisine with Greek and Mediterranean hints. Paella is one of Spain’s most famous dishes and this happens to be Cava’s signature dish as well. Cava means “cellar” in Catalan and the restaurant also has an extensive range of fine wines and Champagnes.</p>
<p>The first thing we tried was their Sangrias which included the Original and Peach red wine Sangria and the Cava and Honeydew white wine Sangria.</p>
<p>The meal consisted of Gamba de Oro (golden crispy prawn with Harissa mayo), Vine de Ajo (clams cooked in red wine, garlic, parsley and butter), Lamb Boullete (lamb meatballs cooked in mint pepper sauce), Crab Boxing (Alaskan snow crab claw with orange and jalapeno), Rodillo Mariscos (seafood spring roll with Asian sweet chilli sauce), Queso Caliente (fried goat cheese with green salad and minty Harissa) and Paella Salchiha with beef sausage and chicken chorizo and wild mushrooms. This came with a side of Chef Sting’s Cili Padi “Volcanic” sauce. If you can’t stand the heat, don’t try it. Dessert was the Chocolate Dream and Chocolate Coffee Mud. Needless to say we were all happy and full campers.</p>

But with even better food.Consider Vietnamese Grilled Chicken Mousse on Cinnamon Sticks, Cambodian Baked Mussels in a Light Curry Sauce, Laotian Deep-Fried White Prawns or Saigonese Fresh Shrimp Crystal Rolls. A combination platter, perhaps the best bet since it solves the problem of choosing from such an extensive menu featuring, among other things, over fifteen different types of salad.</p>
<p>If you like soups, the Cambodian Hot and Sour Mushroom and Tomato Soup or Laotian-Grilled Catfish Soup are delicious.</p>
<p>Entrees are equally varied. We enjoyed a creamy Cambodian Beef and Tamarind Curry, but also on offer are dishes like Laotian-Stir-Fried Duck with Ginger and Chilli, Khmer Stir-Fried Beef with Sesame Sauce or Grilled Lamb Topped with Sun-Dried Pineapple Sauce.</p>
<p>If you are not tempted by Indo-Chinese fare, there is an alternative. On the ground floor,Il Tempio offers more western-oriented dishes such as Grilled Australian Beef Tenderloin or Risotto with Wild Mushrooms, Green Onions and Ground Parmesan.</p>
<p>Leave behind the roar of the city as soon as you can. Tamarind Springs with its tranquility and good taste awaits you.</p>
