Diabetes is a word which specifies the name of the disease which affects most of the human beings. The increase in the blood sugar level is called as the Diabetes. The diabetes symptoms are fainting, increase in blood pressure, the abnormal body situation and many other symptoms are also present. The are many types of Diabetes. They are type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and many other.

The type 1 diabetes means the diabetes patient is not suffering from a heavy increase sugar level. The moderate level of sugar maintained in the blood is called as the type 1 diabetes. The type 2 diabetes is a diabetes where the rate of sugar level in the blood is always high. The rate of the sugar in the blood will vary drastically when ever the sugar patient gets angry.

The diabetes treatment are very costly. The diabetes treatment involves the stem cell research and the better way is the success in the steam cell research. The gestational diabetes is a diabetes which involves the avoidance of the diabetes in the gestational. The are many symptoms of the diabetes they are the tongue roughness, no saliva secretion from mouth, not in the normal ease of birth condition.

The type 2 diabetes method is of most public utility since the cost is also very less and stem cells research is going well in the easy access of the diabetes.

Diabetic diet is one of the most important element in the treatment of diabetes. Infact no acheivement in diabetes treatment can be made without a proper system of diet.It can be said that the first control over the diabetes symtoms begins from your kitchen itself. You only can do better than a doctor in this.

Of late, techneques have been found out to reverse the diabetes symptoms, that is the tendency of body cells to resist insulin mainly as in type 2 diabetes. Now the news is that your body will be able to produce new cells that accept insulin. It basicaly depends on your willingness to adapt to simpler food style containing a varied for of vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

The first sep to begin with is by consuming lower corbohydrates and more of protien.Protien helps in repairing cell membrane. These protiens can be consumed in the form of lean meat , sea food ,and nuts.Zinc has also been found to asssist insulin absorption and help in maintaining cell health.Chromium and vanadium supplement are also found to regulate blood sugar.

Plenty of vitamin c and vitamin E intake will assist in converting body glucose into energy.Multivitamins must be taken in consultation with your doctor.

Another most important thing that goes with proper diabetes diet is proper exercise. There is no other better way of maintaing body weight.Life style changes makes a lot of difference.

A little will power, and you will realise that this so called incurable disease will no longer have control over your life. And why not! There is a long way for each of us to go in life.

Diabetes and Fast Food

You wouldn’t necessarily think that fast foods, if you watch what you eat, would be something that would possibly contribute to a person being diabetic would you? Well remember all that information that came out about Trans fat in all the fast food restaurants? It seems there is a lot more to this idea than was originally thought by most of us.

An experiment was done in which they took two sets of monkeys and fed them approximately the some number of calories, the same amount of fried foods; only one set was fed fried foods equivalent to that which has been used in fast food restaurants.

Even though the monkeys, basically, ate the same diet. The set that had had consumed more trans fat in their diet after six years; the animals that were eating like they were eating fast food had gained 7.2% of their body weight and it was all in the belly. The animals they were not given any trans fat had only gained 1.8%; and of course we all know that with age a small amount of weight gain is normal.

Gaining weight in the belly is one of the signs of diabetes, but in addition they began to be resistant insulin. Gaining weight in the belly is not only a path to possible diabetes but heart disease as well. So it probably is not a good idea to consume food with Trans fat, especially if you have diabetes run in your family.

Type 1 Diabetes also known by the name juvenile diabetes is a form of Diabetes largely seen in children and adolescents below the age of 30. It comes to light in a slow progression though the damage in the pancreas may start earlier.Genetic reasons are found to be one of the major reasons for this form of diabetes.
As in other form of diabetes, the disease reveals itself through great thirst, repeated passage of urine, general weakness and loss of weight.
As this disease occurs mostly at a tender age their needs to be a lot of care and concern on the part of the guardians as the young ones lack accurate knowledge about the disease.the children in particular should be properly guidedinbibing in them a positive spirit to fight the dreaded disease.
Lack of proper and patient caring might result in kidney failure, blood clotting, swelling in the body ,etc.
Though no complete cure has been fond until now ,various measures taken can prevent type 1 diabetes from aggrevating. There needs to be a complete change in the life style patterns.proper diet including lots of fresh fruits and vegetables must be consumed.Emphasis mus be laid on daily exercise.Sedentry life style must not be followed at any cost.Particularl attention must be given in taking care of the feet.
No matter what the disease, our attitude towards life is all what matters.A life full of hope and joy will deenitely go a long way in keeping the disease from overtaking the life.

Diabetes symptoms, causes and treatment

Diabetes is becoming one of the most common diseases not only in adults but in children also. There are apparently no diabetes symptoms and it is not readily detected without medical examination. Also researchers are not been able to find out the reason for its cause but some of the general causes are heredity, unhealthy lifestyle and virus. There are mainly two types of diabetes, Type 1 diabetes and diabetes type 2 but there are many sub sections in these two categories. Once the person is detected with diabetes he or she must know how to cope up with it and how to treat the disease as well. Diabetic person has to stick to diabetic diet throughout his life and avoid consumption of few foods too.

It is also very important to keep a check on the blood sugar level and keep it under control so that it does not harm any of your internal organs. When the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin or there is no or less response to the insulin secreted, that person develops diabetes. There are medicines, both conventional and herbal that help you keep your blood sugar level under control. But you need to change your lifestyle and eating habits and switch to green vegetables and fruits and have a balanced diet as directed by your dietician. You need to do some exercise and burn calories, which is also a vital part of diabetes treatment. There is nothing to panic but few changes in your life will help you keep your diabetes organized.

Pharmaceutical Companies Might Like Type 1 Diabetes

In 1990 a scientist working at Stanford University was able to completely cure type 1 Diabetes in mice using stem cells. Not using the controversial embryo stem cell research but using adult stem cells, but no one would pick it up for clinical trials. There are many of us who believe that the big pharmaceutical companies would rather you purchase insulin a couple of times of day, than be cured once. It just makes good business sense. A legal junkie who will return for a fix day after day for his “stuff”, and in the case of a diabetic it is for a lifetime.

Irving Weissman is that scientist and he is still a professor of pathology and developmental biology today at Stanford University. He has been right before. For instance 12 years ago he discovered a treatment for women with late stage breast cancer and it was ignored. He agrees that pharmaceutical companies would rather do good business than good health; and has spoken out against just those businesses.

Weissman was a guest speaker at Columbia University in a lecture series that is held specifically for religions about science. It is important to understand how stem cell research does not have to go against individuals moral beliefs. Perhaps with some renewed press Weissman can bring his cure for type 1 diabetes into reality. I know plenty of people, their families and perhaps even their insurance companies that would be glad to see science abolish another disease.

Risks By Ethnicity

Unlike some things in this world that know no racial boundary this truth most certainly does not hold for illness and disease. Many illnesses are tied to genetics or tied to activities that are predominant in a given culture. For this reason you will most definitely see a higher incidence of certain conditions in a given culture. One such condition is definitely diabetes type 2. Diabetes symptoms can be very disruptive and if held untreated can lead to very serious consequences up to and including death. As such it is incredibly important that you realize if you have any prevalent risk factors and manage your diet and lifestyle appropriate. You may even want to read up on the diabetic diet so that you can avoid the types of food that may set off your condition. In particular you should be cautious if you are native American, Latino, African American or Japanese. Whites tend to have a lower incidence of Type 2 diabetes. This is also independent of your weight and so if you fall into one of these ethnic groups you should take extra precaution. You should also check your family history as family history can potentially have an enormous impact and may indicate that the genes associate with diabetes can be found in your family.

Diabetes During Pregnancy

Any disease that strikes a mother during pregnancy does not bode well for the baby. Similarly, diabetes being can be harmful for the mother and well as the child; timely diagnosis is good for both of them. Since all the known symptoms of diabetes do not show in pregnant women, they do not realize that they could be having it. Hence, thorough examinations in the fifth and sixth motn are advisable to rule out diabetes. Given below are seven proven indications of the dreaded disease that could apply to expectant mothers.

One major indication would be frequent tiredness, which may be safely attributed to pregnancy too, but the tiredness is accompanied by increased cravings for water and other drinks and trouble with seeing things clearly, the situation warrants immediate check up. The tendency to urinate more often is another symptom of diabetes, but could be associated with pregnancy again. Pregnant women are known to get frequent hunger pangs and there could be infections of the skin, urinary bladder and the vagina, though not for all. Hunger pangs are fine but the other infections are a signal enough to warrant immediate testing to rule out diabetes. Normally all these symptoms, collectively known as gestational diabetes, vanish after delivery. If they do not and continue to persist even after child birth, you should not turn a blind eye to them and a doctor should be consulted on a regular basis. Always to remember to keep a tab on your blood pressure, weight gain and health status during pregnancy, by having regular check ups. Any anomaly or persistent irregularity should be brought to the notice of the doctor soon.

Keep all the above things in mind during pregnancy to ensure good health for you as well as the unborn child.
