Welcome to DesignBlogList's first giveaway! The first item is a handmade box from master box-maker Doug Stowe. Doug wrote the book, literally, on box making (several books actually, available here). His boxes are exquisitely crafted out of domestic hardwoods. (See Doug's website for information on his commitment to using domestic hardwoods instead of exotic lumber). The drawing is for a box made from hickory with walnut accents and a contrasting lid made from persimmon.

Introducing Design Blog List

Welcome to Design Blog List! What began as a list of interior design blogs on Furnitude got so big that I decided to spin it off as its own blog. There are now over 200 listed. I want this to be the most comprehensive list of interior design blogs on the Internet. Please help by suggesting more design blogs, even your own. I'll make posts when I add blogs so that you can see the updates if you subscribe by rss or email. Periodically, I will offer giveaways of handmade items from the full range of craft. I will also feature a design blog of the day (see the box at right to see how your blog can be featured). If your blog is already listed, please consider mentioning DBL on your own blog, adding it to your blogroll or exchanging ads.

I hope you find this to be a helpful resource. But I must warn you that clicking these links can be addictive. You may look up and realize you've lost an hour or twelve. Click responsibly!
