Text links are also created in Commission Junction, for individual Super Special items. If you are unfamiliar with finding text links through Commission Junction, this should help:

Choose the "Get Links" tab
Choose "Advertisers" in drop down, then search "DaySpring"
Under "Advertiser Search Results" click "View Links"
Choose "Links" in drop down, then search "Super Specials"

All 14 Super Specials plus a text link to the entire Super Special section should then appear. Choose "HTML" or "Javascript" from the products that you'd like to promote on your site.

Individual products can now be found in the Product Datafeed in Shareasale. If you have any questions about finding and linking to individual products, please don't hesitate to send us an email.

Product Datafeed Temporarily Unavailable

You might have noticed a new look to DaySpring.com. We have recently re-launched and re-designed our online store with the goal of giving a better consumer experience and improving our conversion rates. We have also switched to a more robust and flexible platform.

This should help you earn more money as we expect our new and improved online store will make it easier for consumers to find what they are looking for and checkout.

Unfortunately, during the transition to the new platform, our product data feeds for Commission Junction and ShareASale have not yet been switched over.

Since our domain for the online store has changed from store.dayspring.com to www.dayspring.com, all of our product links must change as well. For now, they will just re-direct to our store home page. Once the data feed to our new platform has been updated, this should be taken care of.

Just like any transition, there are lots of small but important glitches that have to be worked out. We are working hard to get all of them, including the product feeds, fixed as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and value your partnership.

Until we are able to update the product data feeds, a good solution would be to use links from related banners or text links. If you only use banners or text links, this issue will not affect you.

We will update here as soon as things are back and running normally.

Linking to Individual Products Through Affiliate URLs

An affiliate emailed us a question:

I realise that there's no link provided for specific products. Would it be possible for me to get the link via the general link that's provided (but via my link)?

We've answered this in individual emails before, but since this is a frequently recurring question, we have decided to put together this blog post.

It is possible to link to individual DaySpring products through affiliate URLs, and none of our general links will work for this. You want to use product-specific links, and depending on the affiliate network through which you partner with us, here's how to do it:

Commission Junction:

For specific product links you want to go to "Get Links" > Find us by "DaySpring" > Click "View Products", and after that just type in the name of the product you wish to link to and hit "Find" (see image below). That will pull its links for you.

ShareASale:

Under "Get Links" menu click "Get a Link/Banner" > Find "DaySpring Cards Inc" and click "Get Links" under it > Your product links may then be found under the "Datafeed Products" tab (see below).

Spring is just around the corner, and with Easter coming up in just a little more than five weeks, we've already started creating and uploading Spring & Easter banners for our affiliate to use. They will all link to our Spring and Easter Cards, Gifts & Decor section where your site's visitors and newsletter recipients may find dozens of great Spring and Easter gift ideas and greeting cards.

Have you heard of the bloom (in)courage Book Club yet? It is an exciting new edition to DaySpring’s social site, (in)courage.

Bloom (in)courage will involve regular posts about the current book the club is reading. These posts will include videos, articles, and discussion within the (in)courage community.

The first book that has been chosen for the book club is One Thousand Gifts, by Ann Voskamp. This powerful book reached the Amazon top 10 when it was released two weeks ago.

With the launch of bloom (in)courage, the release of One Thousand Gifts, and a new "(in)courage Books" section on the DaySpring Online Store, DaySpring affiliates have great new opportunities for partnership!

Conversion Rate: Trends in Commission Junction & ShareASale

We are witnessing some really great conversion trends -- both in our Commission Junction program, and in our ShareASale one.

The range of ~6% to ~8% is really encouraging to see:

We are having some good times in our affiliate program now. The 7-day conversion rate (CR) on affiliate-referred traffic is currently at 8.5%, while 30-day CR is at 5.5%. We hope you are enjoying this with us too!

Today I'd like to bring three big promos to your attention. One is already going on (apologies for not letting you know of it sooner -- I myself have just found out about it), and the other two are coming up shortly.

After Christmas, remember to market this promo, calling your audience to stock up for next Christmas with Christmas jewelry, home decor, nativities, 2011 calendars and much more -- all at deep (up to 75% off) discounts.
