Vanessa Hudgens gave me a Valentine's Day present, wearing a gorgeous Moschino dress with gold metallic Zanotti heels.

Very pleased to say that Carrie Underwood was truly the best dressed at last night's Grammy Awards. She chose another stunning Gomez Gracia dress (the same designer behind her scorching hot dress in her Remind Me video). She managed to pull off both the simple chic trend in the dresses cut and the exposed back trend, plus added a that star factor with all the sparkles. I love it.

My second favorite of the night is mom-to-be Lily Aldridge. I would have expected the Victoria's Secret model to wear something figure hugging and her trademark ombre tresses down, but she surprised me in this gorgeous soft gown and barely there makeup.

There was tons of sleek and sexy black dresses with skin everywhere, but my favorites were Gwyneth and Rihanna. Riri went SO skimpy, but she totally can pull that off.

Sorry for the brief recap, I'm trying to crank this out before they board the flight any minute now!

Emma Watson in Valentino pre-BAFTAs is just a total glam girl. She starts off the year strong fashion-wise and I can't wait to see what else she wears. Emily Van Camp wore Jason Wu to his Fashion Week show.

Lauren Conrad just returned from New York, but there was no downtime for her this weekend. She ran a few last minute errands in her salmon Joe's jeans before heading to Las Vegas for an appearance birthday party at Hyde, to which she wore a blue sequined Alice and Olivia dress.

I'm off to Mexico for the week for work.

If you are a High School Musical fan (if not, WHY NOT), then you understand the power of what was both the most ridiculous and very best scene - Zac Efron dancing around a golf course singing about how stressful it is to be a theater-loving jock.

Anyway, I have three resorts to scout, two in Punta Mita, which is outside of Puerto Vallarta, and one in Cabo, as well as some restaurants and excursion options. This is obviously one of my favorite parts of my job, not only because I get to experience some 5 star resorts wooing my business, but because I get to be really creative with a hefty budget to help our sales team show our best clients a really good time.

I'll try to do some blogging on site pending meetings; I think there will definitely be some good stuff to share!

Carrie Underwood caught her husband's game in Ottawa this week. Most artists will change up their look a little between albums and Carrie is no exception. She is all about extra long locks for this record and I LOVE IT.

And today she is rehearsing for the Grammy's with Tony Bennett. Are those cheetah leggings?

Lauren Conrad grabbed lunch at my fav Lemonade wearing a Dolce Vita dress that I really want to buy, but I'm trying to be good. :( We'll see how long that lasts!

Geez, Chelsea Handler, you are just going from bad to worse. What is this look? I truly wonder if she doesn't care what she puts on or if she thinks this is current and cute.

Meow, Sophia Bush and Malin Akerman on the other hand, they nailed it. Sophia wore a Paula Ka dress that I hope she had spanx on under or that would be a b to try to peel off. Pretty sure Malin was inspired by something Mary J. Blige would wear in a 1998 video, but it still works for her. I have a fun Mary J story, should I tell it now? Yes? Ok.

My friend Showers had tickets to her concert on Mother's Day. After celebrating with mom, we went to the show. Mary J. had this power ballad which had a scrapbook of her life flashing behind her. At the end, she was basically screaming and weeping, "I was an addict! I was promiscious! I was acting like a ho! I was crying in the gutter!" then after a brief pause, "...Happy Mother's Day." That was it! We were like, "Nice transition."

Let's pick this party back up with the always stunning Diane Kruger. Doesn't she just look every inch the movie star in these photos? She's in Giambattista Valli for the premiere of her new film in which she plays Marie Antoinette alongside Virgine Leyoden, who I haven't seen since The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio!

Kate Winslet sticks with the current trend of sleek and chic in a St. John's dress and Rebecca Romijn wore Cynthia Rowley to the designers runway show.

UGH. Have I mentioned how much I hate dresses that are short but have long sheer fabric over them? This reminds me of how upset I am with my VS skirt all over again.

Minka Kelly is gorgeous. Look at that hair! There is a ton of ombre brunette hair inspiration out there, but for a relatively natural brunette color to emulate, there you go.

She worked the runway in DVF. That is how you stand out in a crowd! Her step and repeat dress is also DVF. Stunning!

And, without running through all the other celebs that walked because frankly they weren't that exciting, can we take a moment to appreciate Jennifer Nettles? She brings loads of Hollywood glamour to the Country scene. She wore David Meister.

Another red hot treat is this basically calorie free natural Raspberry Lemonade recipe I tried today.

- 6 Raspberry flavored tea bags (I used Raspberry Zinger)
- 2 quarts (that's 8 cups) of room temperature or cool water
- 3 lemons, juiced
- stevia to taste
Steep the teabags in the water for about 15 minutes. Remove the bags, add the lemon juice, then sweeten to taste. Delish!

Speaking of delish, Miranda Kerr slays me with her cute little son, punchy Spring outfit, and those Christian Dior sunglasses I cannot buy because all my expensive shades meet an untimely end. But I want them!!!

Speaking of want, if you know me, you probably know I eat kale like almost every day. My fridge looks like a forest. This made me happy.

amfAR Red Carpet: Leighton, LiLo, Rose, Vanessa, Erin

At the amfAR gala in New York, best dressed of the night has to be Erin Heatherton, the VS Angel who took over as Leo DiCaprio's young blonde thing after he split from Blake. She wore the best loved designer of the night, Roberto Cavalli.

Heidi Klum and Cindy Crawford both got dolled up for the event in Roberto Cavalli. Really happy to see Heidi looking on her game after a slew of recent hideous ensembles.

Elizabeth Hurley never misses an opportunity to show some cleave; she was also in Cavalli. Rose Byrne is keeping the quirky hair and skipped the gown in favor of an Alexander McQueen cocktail dress.

What is with Leighton's hair? Ugh, she looks like she wore a beanie to the event after having hot rollers in all day. And green fur panels on what would have been a simple LV LBD? Almost as bad as whatever the hell Lindsay Lohan thinks is attractive these days. Bad bangs are everywhere right now, but white only makes this baby grandma look so close to Donatella Versace - probably exactly what she wants.

Have you notice the sleek and chic gown trend? Very Hilary Swank a la Oscars 2005. Julianne Moore is gorgeous as always in Cavalli, while Padma went with a plunging red gown.

Molly Sims went for winter white while SJP stood out in a pink Oscar de la Renta gown.

Not loving Jennifer Hudson's wild hair and, while Vanessa Hudgens looks good, she gets the award for most underdressed of the evening. Where's the gown?

Alexa Chung did her own style, dressed up in LV, which is awesome. Another favorite look of the night was Polish model Anja Rubik in a Gucci flapper dress. So fun!

This Means War Premiere: Reese, Sophia, Chelsea, KCav

Chelsea Handler is definitely on my list of celebs most in need of a stylist change. This Elizabeth and James dress is just not cute. Looks like a top Reese would wear with jeans (cute), not a mullet red carpet premiere dress. Plus, it does not translate well on camera, which is the whole point of the premiere. KCav, on the other hand, looked rom-com ready in a Maria Lucia Hohan LRD.

Whitney Cummings wore a Stella McCartney sporty looking number while Reese Witherspoon went with a tiny Miu Miu dress. I thought she'd be pregnant by now, soon I hope! She needs to get some spray tan lessons from Miss Underwood so that her legs aren't a completely different race from her upper bod. Isn't it fascinating that spray tans seem to still be an unmastered beauty ritual in Hollywood? So many oompa loompas, dyed hands, and mismatched body shades.

Best dressed for the night was Sophia Bush in Oclay Gulsen, a dutch designer working under his own name after years on his unfortunately titled Supertrash label. Blue is everywhere right now! Not only is this dress crazy chic, her delicate Dana Rebecca bangles, shiny hair, Tom Ford heels, Judith Leiber clutch, and natural makeup make her look like a total starlet.

While I'm looking at the second trendiest exposure right now (the leg slit comes second to the open back), I have to tell you that those Victoria's Secret maxis I ordered did not work out. They are pretty and fit great, but when I tried it on at home I realized they are completely sheer. The lining only comes to about mid-thigh giving it a look of pleated chiffon over a mini skirt. I am so bummed. The hunt continues for perfect maxi skirts with slits!

High Flying Fashion: Posh, Heidi, LC, Lohan

Hmm, judging by these outfits it is still cold back East, yes? I'm starting to think about packing for my business trip to Mexico next week and these aren't really providing me with much inspiration. I have learned that wearing a maxi dress to the airport earns you one grope session with a TSA agent. Never again!

Victoria Beckham, with Harper, and Heidi Klum make their way to NY for Fashion Week. One of them looks ready for it, one looks like she is making a run with half her closet on.

Lauren Conrad returned from meetings in NYC regarding her Kohl's line as well as meetings with her book publishers. Thanks to Mackenzie who helped me ID her cute Asos bow front flats. I'm weirdly proud of how well she has done for herself. Remember her on season 1 of Laguna Beach? She was a horrible student, kinda sorta committed to going to art school for fashion, quiet thing who didn't get the guy. Now she is one of the most savvy business women in Hollywood, especially for somebody who came up out of reality scandal free. Baby Grandma Lohan over here could take a cue from her.

Pretty in pink! Molly Sims looks phenomenal in a pink on pink BCBG maxi dress that I must make mine. Haven't found it selling online yet, but I'm all over that. Jennifer Garner and her youngest Seraphina both donned some pink for errands in Brentwood.

Hilary Duff faked us out with her hospital visit last week; she had a baby shower in Beverly Hills over the weekend and was back at Piloxing yesterday for a workout session. Alessandra Ambrosio caught a flight in a comfy outfit with her baby bump.

And dayum Beyonce! A month after the birth of Blue Ivy, who just had a patent and trademark filed on her name by her parents, Bey was stunning in Monique Lhuillier last night. Unreal, right?

Speaking of couture sparkles, did you catch the return of Jersey Couture last night? Jerseylicious is moronic to me, but I'm in love with Jersey Couture. Those girls and that family are hilarious!

Rachel McAdams Style

I was so inspired by Rachel McAdam's looks for her press tour for The Vow that I wanted to compile them and see which was your favorite. Rachel is always ladylike, with feminine silhouettes, delicate shoes (no platforms for her), and lots of lace details. She is also quite conservative, choosing high necklines, tailored clothing that never comes across as too tight, and some simple cuts. She also loves blue, which is a huge standout in my closet...might explain the girl crush on her clothes.

This look gets three photos since it was hard to see the details in any one. The black peacoat with big buckle closures is The Row and her Brian Atwood nude heels have a lovely lace detail up the back. A black Lover dress with lace sleeves and a Peter Pan collar was a huge win for me. This brand caught my eye last fall with their gorgeous lace dresses and I love this new take on their all lace looks.

Very ladylike mint green Vivienne Westwood meets rocker chic hair and makeup. I think Nicole Kidman would love to take this whole look from her. Easy curls and a t-shirt like top let a bright Peter Som printed maxi with a slit stand out. Rachel is always a showstopper in winter white. Her Andrew Gn dress is super structured and, again, feminine.

I think most of you would covet this lovely Collette Dinnigan dress. Everything about this dress and how she styled it is elegant. Winter white meets her blue crush in another Peter Som dress and her favorite red lips. Rachel even stands out in a simple Zac Posen dress in seafoam green.

The Vow Premiere

Yeah, she's back! Rachel McAdams pulled off sexy and romantic in Vivienne Westwood for the premiere of The Vow. Her bangs aren't my fav, but she looks every inch a movie star. A lot of you know I have a pretty extended personal vocab and I feel like I should tell you about ice cream colors right now. That is what I call any very light pastels. This uber light mint for example and since it is so in for spring, you might as well understand the word now. If you know me IRL, chances are I've complimented you for looking very ice cream once or twice.

Take note, when opting for mint green, your makeup and hair can really stand out since the color is so neutral. Her red lips totally work for me here. The other cool thing is that it works really well on paler complexions, making it perfect for early spring before you are rocking a glow. Alexa Vega, on the other hand, shows how not to do it. Multiple ice cream shades on the drab side plus uber light makeup doesn't make for much of a red carpet impression.

Remember last week when I said I was surprised Reese wasn't starting in with the red for the red carpet? Everybody else has stepped in with it. Jenna Dewan wore Tadashi Shoji for her hubby's flick. Jana Kramer, wow. Not only is Kris Jenner going to be calling you up to borrow this dress, but you aren't even in this movie so this is a pretty bold choice. It probably would have worked much better with a bouncy ponytail to offset the drama of this look, right?

The Revenge girls were in the house. Ashley Madekwe, bless her heart, did not get the memo on dress code. Christa B. Allen looks like she walked right off the set and then added some red lipstick. Her character is always so girlie, in flowing florals and layers, I would have loved to see something different. But the dress is very pretty, just needed some nude heels.

I don't know what is going on with the baby Jenner girls. I'm pretty sure Kendall stepped out of a photo from my 8th grade graduation dance, tendrils and all, which Kylie is absolutely swimming in a giant dress and clown shoes. Doesn't her head look microscopic here?!

Oh no, it isn't that time of year already is it?!? Miley, Hayden, Ashley, and Kim all bared legs over the weekend in Los Angeles.

I am not a shorts person. I think I might own two non-cotton/gym pairs, and one of those was purchased specifically to wear ziplining in Mexico. They just don't look great on me and I'm generally much happier in a sundress.

Two ladies dressed ready for Valentine's Day are Elizabeth Banks, promoting heart health for women, and Emmy Rossum, in an adorable Anna Sui chiffon dress with hearts on it!

Please note they were both smart enough to not pair these with red heels!

Superbowl Fashion: Underwood, McPhee, Andrews, Reed

Anna Faris and Nikki Reed both went super casual for the Rolling Stone party at the Superbowl. I do like Nikki's dress which is by Hills alum Whitney Port.

Erin Andrews and Jessica Szohr bumped up the dress code to snappy casual. I tried to find a pic where Jessica took off that stupid hat so I could applaud her outfit, but she has to upset me so none exists.

On the dressy side, we have Katharine McPhee finally bringing us something great. Her white dress resembles the Tibi dresses that made the rounds last fall. Really shows off her arctic tan! On the opposite side of the arctic tan spectrum is Emmanuelle Chriqui in a floor-length green gown, which I would totally wear to a summer wedding. I prefer Katharine's dress in this scenario.

And I hope you all saw Carrie Underwood performing with Steven Tyler. I really loved Aerosmith growing up; I credit the stoners in my art classes with expanding my music collection to a lot of great bands from the 70's and early 80's. Obvio, I love Carrie so this was very exciting for me. My favorite song they did was Crying; so many high notes and they are both perfect for this. The matching pink extensions were un poco queso, but they are both pretty flashy performers so it's cool. If you are in the market for a jean jacket for some reason, hers is by Blessed and Cursed.

And I'm sorry, the pug commercial was adorbs, but Bud Light gets top props for Weego. Not only was the commercial cute, it's philanthropic. "Like" it at Facebook.com/budlight and you'll contribute to their donation to Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation, which is close to my heart because I taught dog obedience classes there. It's a great cause and a great facility!

Journey 2 Premiere: Hudgens, Tisdale, McAdams, Davis

At the Journey 2 premiere last night, the looks were all across the board. Kristin Davis desperately needs to shake up her look. Her Monique Lhuillier dress is more bridesmaid than Hollywood premiere. On the other end of the spectrum, Ashley Tisdale looks pretty trashy in Nightcap.

Rachel McAdams worked Peter Som, but was making the oddest facial expressions. This is the best pic I could find and she still looks like she's uncomfortable. If I can offer you one rock solid, transferable to real life trend for spring/summer, it is to invest in a bright or patterned maxi skirt. The skirt has taken over where the dress left off and you get bonus points if it has a slit. I have a hot pink one that has no slit and I stumble up stairs quite a bit; you need that extra movement the slit provides.

Vanessa Hudgens wore a bright yellow Maria Lucia Hohan, a designer that is really making the rounds in the past 6 months. She can actually pull off yellow so today I'll be nice. I mean, I love this one and really want her to succeed.

Is it possible that the Rock has gotten bigger? Because he looks enormous. Do you think it's horrible for Josh Hutcherson to have to travel around with his ex, Vanessa, and then attend the premiere with her and her boyfriend? I think so. Also, I need to know if you are amped to see him as Peeta Mellark. I've been arguing with people that I just don't get him for the role, but I hope he proves me wrong.

Could Elizabeth Banks look any more stunning than she does in this pic for Women's Health? I'm on the hunt for this dress, but more importantly, look at her hair!! This might be my haircut inspiration until mine grows out fully again.

Blake Lively looks beautiful in a feminine, conservative Valentino dress with Loubs. She's promoting Godiva for Valentine's Day, as if she could get anything better than Ryan Reynolds. Emma Roberts is newly single after splitting from Glee's Chord Overstreet, but keeping busy in LA. Flats are a rarity for her!

In about the cutest birthday pic ever Lauren Conrad shows how she celebrated her birthday yesterday, popping champagne in her office.

Lauren jetted of to NY today to work on her Kohl's collection. A similarly dressed Ashley Greene gets a little waxing done in Los Angeles before heading off to lunch.

Ashley Tisdale was once again at Byron and Tracey for a hair touch-up as well as traveling down memory lane with Vanessa Hudgens. The two went to a dance class in Hollywood, undoubtedly reliving all their days in choreography from the HSM movies. I hope these two get paid for the amount of Free People they wear. And Wildfox for that matter.

This is how my babies slept, like a quotation mark, with Tamale as the big spoon. Yes, she fell asleep in her Jayhawk cheerleading dress. I was crushed against the headboard with no blankets and perfectly fine with that. It is so awesome to see how happy they are to be together, these accidental siblings.

Cholula is here until Sunday while my parents are in Palm Springs. I've missed her so much though I think the people below me are not appreciating the wrestle mania that occurs between the pups. We have company coming over for dinner tonight, a playdate with the Newfs tomorrow, and a hike and the dog park on Saturday.

For the LA crowd and visitors, I've dined at some awesome places recently. Next Door by Josie on Pico is a no reservations, farmer's market driven American grub restaurant. I shared a root veggie pot pie, a cheese plate, and a bean side dish. Very filling, let me tell you.

It's small, so you are kind of sitting right up next to the people beside you so no secrets should be shared, but they have cheese and charcuterie platters, sandwiches, and soups. The aesthetic is creative, with an entire wall covered in chicken coop and filled with wine corks.

Cube is a similar menu, changing with what is seasonal and offering meat and cheese plates, as well as pizza and pasta. We had a surprisingly delicious teahive cheese from Utah, shaved brussels sprout salad with pomegranate seeds and hazelnut vinigarette, and a truffle and spinach pizza. That plus some Sav Blanc...delicious!

This place was packed and you have to go through the kitchen to get to the restroom, but the service was impeccable and our waitress was very well versed in the food selections and wine suggestions. Since I'm in events, I wanted to point out the "private" dining area for 12-18 people. It's a beautiful room, but all the wait staff and anybody hitting the loo will pass through part of it so it's not entirely private.

Yesterday I had lunch at Fig & Olive, which I've been to a few times in New York and always found to be so so. Their location on Melrose is gorgeous, bright and airy and has a huge bar area.

I had a martini (yes, at lunch, we had a lot of gossip to dish) which is a ludicrous $16, but the food was quite good. They have loads of truffle dishes on the menu and I had a lovely pasta that would have been perfect except it was drowning in truffle oil. I couldn't eat the whole thing anyway so I avoided the swimming pieces and enjoyed it.

For dessert, we had the Amarena cherry, mascarpone, pistachio crostini on basil shortbread. I do not have a sweet tooth and this was outstanding. Probably my favorite part of the whole meal, which is really saying something from the dessert free girl.

You are probably thinking I am a huge pig now haha, but I've had quite a few birthday lunches and dinners and I eat extremely healthy at home. Go on, treat yo self!

I know you don't want to hear this, but I think I might pick Kim Kardashian if I could raid one celebrity closet. Just think of the quantity alone, not to mention all the designers covered there. Her outfits were a little out there for a few weeks, but seem to be heading back to where she began.

Please note the dual cell phones and her either friend or assistant who dresses a lot like her whenever they are together.

A cute cropped Elizabeth and James blazer to go with her Hermes belt and Bleulab jeans while lunching with Kourtney. I love this 6 Shore Road poncho and went to buy it, but it's all sold out. Boo! This would be an awesome travel top. This is Kim leaving a laser hair place. Seriously, does she have any hair left? She's being doing this for years! (Note asst/friend behind her.)

Kim breaks the bank at Lululemon in an awesome Stella McCartney yellow blazer. I want that thing! I'm kind of in a "blazer in every color" phase right now. Her leather leggings are Siwy. This other look is pretty classic Kim, she loves those Jimmy Choo shades and that Rick Owens jacket.

And then there's the Rachel Zoe maxi skirt. I would live in this outfit from head to toe, I love it. I just went to buy that skirt and it is $500. Fail. I also love her newly lighten locks; it gives her softer look that she so desperately needs right now. Any of these styles blowin' your skirt up? That is to say, you like?

Bump Watch: Garner, KCav, Duff, Sims, Kardashian

Remember this time last year how it was about a pregnancy announcement a day? Seems the baby fever has slowed down in Hollywood. Hilary Duff checks in to a hospital with two bags, prepping for the arrival of her son. Alessandra Ambrosio is finally (barely) showing her second baby bump while shopping in Malibu.

Kourtney Kardashian did a bikini photoshoot with her sisters in Malibu over the weekend, showing off her baby bump. Let me tell you a bikini photo shoot with my non-preggo sisters sounds pretty awful, she's one brave girl! Jennifer Garner and her absolutely adorable daughter Seraphina run errands in Santa Monica. Her son is due soon, too.

Molly Sims does some shopping in Malibu. She has a pretty solid website for a celebrity and is including lots of preggo tips, pics of her growing belly, and even preggo fashion! Check it out here. Kristin Cavallari prepares to fly to Chicago with What to Expect When You're Expecting under arm.

Totally unrelated to a preggo post, I wanted to give a shout out to Skinny Runner and everybody who has come my way via her hilarious blog. She is very kind of mention Day Old News on the regular.
