Long story short, I've liked a boy (T) for the last year. We've dated other people but my hearts always gone back to him. We're really good friends. We're both very strong Christians and are pretty much the perfect couple. He actually gave me his bible a week ago and on the inside he just wrote to: keziah from: Travis with three hearts. Not sure if it was a friendly gesture. Yesterday we hangout with 3 other friends and I 'stole' his cd case from his truck and put my favorite bible verse and cd in it and gave it back today. He's really hard to read. He's not the typical guy, he doesn't date basically at all and isn't open about what he feels. But I'm crazy about him, last night I asked a mutual friend to ask him what his opinion of me is. The friend said he said "Shes a great faithful girl and shes fun to hang out witth". Opinions would be greatly appreciated. Be honest please, I'm having trouble reading into the situation. THANKS! btw I am 16 and he is 17 if it makes any difference.

We're both 23 yrs old. The guy I'm in love with, I have to say he is wild and a partyer. He's had tons of gfs and has been with a lot of women, has only been in one serious relationship where the girl pushed him to marriage too soon and he ended up not even living with her the year they were "married" and ended up getting annulled a year later, but even so, It still shows a lot that he doesn't know how to be in a serious grown up relationship. Since he moved to Italy and I am still in the U.S. (still working on getting my own job and career started, both of us are), we're pretty much in a friends, with strong feelings for each other, relationship because of the distance and where we are in our lives. We both care a lot about each other and I am planning on moving to Italy when I can afford to. When we talk online and on the phone, he acts like I'm the love of his life and he is really honest with me. He's also the love of my life and lately he's been feeling like his life is a hot mess and depressed because his mom had recently just told him he was a mistake >.<

Today he had a party at his new apartment with his friends and got really wasted. He ended up having sex with this chick, and he said it was meaningless and that he didn't really like her that much and couldn't care less about her. He was really gone when he told me that, but he seemed really guilty about it that he felt like he had to tell me. He's all "I've done something that you'll hate me for (he was all emotional)" he kept saying over and over "go on, hate me. you're a good girl and I'm bad its a bad mix. no girl would put up with this." saying "please please i hope you'll find a better guy than me!!!!!" then he kept going on and on about how horrible he is, and how he loves me so so much but he's horrible.

oddly enough, i felt ok with it, told him it was ok. since we're not together or even dating now (even though he's really my "should be boyfriend" kind of friend) i felt like it was ok that he just got it out of his system. usually when he says these things to me id yell at him for telling me things like that, but i was almost glad he told me because he was really honest with me. i thought that that is a good sign. and he was really guilty about it when he came to me, so i know he cares so much for me. this distance thing is getting the best of both of us. but until we're able to see each other and visit each other again, i want to be able to guide him into what's right in a real relationship (since he's had so many bad ones in his past.). I really don't think he knows how… cause when he does something wrong he tries to push me away or he feels unworthy or guilty to the point of depression almost. I love him a lot and I do choose him to be with. he's my best friend and one of the only people who get me. I just want him happy and to guide him and erase all the things other girls have programmed in his head about relationships.

what are some ways I can guide him into a real relationship?

(I have purchased the Girl Gets Ring system and I'm currently reading it. It's a great series! but I'd like even more experienced opinions on my situation and what to do in them. ))

Invite him over to watch sports, give him some alcohol and a great massage. Mention to him how hot the cheerleaders are and let him answer freely without judging him. If a man feels like he is free to be himself without reproach then he will keep that girl forever.
