Liz and I met up with Evan and Lindsay to photograph their engagement session in Traverse City the same week as their wedding. Wow the month of August cruised on by. A couple of weeks ago Matt and I spent the day with Dan & Rachel in Northport, MI at the Sunrise Landing Motel & Resort. This lovely place is owned and operated by Rachel’s parents and was a perfect place for a beach wedding. This small group was a delight to hang out with, not even a “little” rain could dampen the mood of this crowd. Congrats again Dan & Rachel, thanks for everything and God Bless your marriage!

Lake Leelanau, MI Wedding Photography – Tim & Laura

A couple of weekends ago, Matt and I had the honor of spending the day with Tim, Laura their friends and families. The day was very relaxed at the Crooked Creek Ranch with a beautiful ceremony down on Lake Leelanau, cocktails to follow and pulled pork for dinner. Oh man was it good! Where do I begin… Well let me start off by saying, Paul and Nikki are sweet. I knew that from the time Liz and I met them for their engagement session last fall, that their wedding at Castle Farms was going to be a blast. Paul and Nikki are genuinely fun, loving people and the entire wedding celebration was exactly that, fun and full of love. Last weekend Matt and I journeyed downstate to Bay City to photograph Chris & Courtney’s wedding. The ceremony was actually held in St. Charles and then we traveled by bus with the wedding party to the Double Tree in Bay City for the reception. A couple of weeks ago Matt and I spent the day with Pete, Chelsea and their friends and family to celebrate their marriage at the Life Saving Station in Elberta. The weather started off like it did for their engagement session, but the day started to clear just as we were heading outside for photographs. Even if it did decide to rain, I don’t think anything could have taken the smiles away from Pete and Chelsea. These two are very happy, high spirited people and when I was taking photos, I can’t help but keep a grin on my face, Chelsea called me out on it . Congratulations again Pete and Chelsea, may God Bless your marriage and bring joy and happiness to you forever and ever.
