Fall is a time to embark on a new inner journey. As we dance into fall and move to deeper slumber in the winter season. What is stirring within you that wants attention?

Take time each day to be the peace that you truly are. Be present with your self, say for 2 mins a day. Put down the cell phone, turn off any other distracting noise. Sit in you car at a parking lot and just BE.

May the wonderment of fall touch you deeply.

I've been listening to the Quantum Jump series... in Module one I jumped back to when I was 2 and a half years old. A vision my guides have shown me several times. I in the past have shifted some profound things in my life from this foundational point and what I observed, by simply changing my point of view. Happy Full Moon!

Well... here we are in Spring 2010 - my my, my bad... I have not posted in quite some time. Life happens sometimes, that is for sure!

This Scorpio/Taurus full moon is one of the most important of the year. TIME to RELEASE! Release what no longer serves you. Many of you may have been feeling the urge to clean out closets or area's of your home, creating new space
and energy for something wonderful! yea! me too! LOL even pulled items from the pantry to donate today to clear space.

What I want to share now for your consideration is to think about what in your mind, your inner world are you ready to let go of? This is the area for most of us that is ready for a shift.

INVITATION: Write a list of what you feel no longer serves you. Emotions, thoughts, things of the past. See below for a wonderful poem I received in an email today. The Knot Prayer.

Tonight I plan to celebrate the full moon with my circle sisters, we will use this poem as part of our ritual and the vision my guides gave me was to take a short piece of rope, twine, yarn etc (I'm going to use laundry line as it is white and easy to work with.) Tie knots in it, colors it with markers thinking about what you are wanting to release in the multiple areas of your life.

Then while reading the poem aloud, untie the knots, feeling in the core of your being the "release" as you untie each knot. Offer the cord/twine to the Moon, God, Goddess, creator of all that is and ASK for assistance and then burn it, cut it up and flush it down the toilet or release it in what ever way feels appropriate to you! (environmentally sound and safe of course)

THE KNOTS PRAYER

Dear Higher power, God, Goddess, all which is:
Please untie the knots that are in my mind,
My heart, and my life.
Remove the have nots, the can nots and the do nots
That I have in my mind.

Ease the will nots, the may nots, the might nots that
May find a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots, would nots, and
Should nots that obstruct my life and joy
And most of all I ask that you remove from my mind,
My heart and my life all of the “I AM NOTS” that I
Have allowed to hold me back.

New Moon Abundance Checks!

I feel that this new moon is a catalyst. We are now done with the 3 in row eclipses that have for me and I am sure you, brought up some interesting and intense energies.

Ride the wave... that is what I have been telling myself. The new moon on August 20, 2009 at 3:02 am PDT feels to me to be a new beginning after the release of what the eclipses brought up. Are you ready? I know I am.

Greetings... to continue on this journey of some meanings of my name

This was sent to me a few years ago by someone on the Ryze Network:

For those that know me, they will mostly likely read this and say... yea, that sounds like DaKara... or interestingly see some of the qualities of what was written.

For those who have not met me yet... it is helping others and the gift of their laughter that inspires me.

I was amazed when this and other information was sent to me "out of the blue". I am Grateful!

Whats in a name? Well "DaKara" to be specific

I was inspired to share some of the meanings of the name DaKara Kies

I was given the gift of my name back in the mid 90's by my guides. At the time when I was given names of say new guides etc they would give me the first two letters, then the rest over time, which could be the next day, week or month.

I had been told that I was getting a new name - this intrigued me and then I heard Da. I was amused at the humor of my guides. Still am many times. Gotta love good humor or at least I do.
So for a couple of months I went on with life thinking about my new name to come thinking... hummm Da... sounding it out as Duh! LOL needless to say while on a 2 week vacation and spiritual journey on the beautiful island of Kauai the rest of the name came to me during a meditation. I loved the name and then moved forward asking questions as to how to utilize the name or ??? I will share more about that at another time, today I want to share some of the meanings I have been given or rather gifted.

Many years ago I was given some information as follows:
Da= Feminie Energy / Earth Energy
Ka= Universal Life force Energy
Ra= Masculine Energy / Sun Energy

This represented Balance to me.

This did and still does make sense to me, as my life's journey is about balance on many levels.

The Day after the Solar Eclipse

Does it feel like Spring again? Maybe not so much in the weather, but energetically? For me after the eclipse last night I felt anew, free, blessed and very very GRATEFUL!

Last night was magical, my friends and I created sacred space. We shared a meal together and then coloring mandala's for our new lives, hearts desires and intentions. We sang, laughed and drummed (one of the drums I have made int the past is for cellular healing, so I drummed that out into the world). I made iced coffee drinks and we had cheesecake!(some with chocolate, yum!)
We listened to music did and did a meditation during the eclipse... the whole evening was wonderful, magical, freeing, blessed! We have plans to make decoupage egg shakers with the mandala's we colored - it got to late last night to move to that part of the fun. so we will get back together soon to create our sacred musical tools.

Hoping each one of you had similar magic in your evening.

KNOW that you are blessed, KNOW that you are loved. ALLOW the Divine Mother to embrace you, fill your heart, body and soul.

We have truly moved into the Aquarian age...

BE Peace, BE You, Be true to your self!

Total Solar Eclipse July 21/22, 2009
Are you ready? The eclipse happens at 29 degrees of Cancer (timing noted in the previous blog post) the sign that most embodies the energy of Divine Mother. The energy of Divine Mother will burst forth with this total eclipse of the Sun. The eclipse ushers in a time of transformation, awakening and an opportunity to release the old patterns and start a new.

We are truly moving into the age of Aquarius!

Being that is happening in the sign of Cancer, a cardinal water sign on the astrology wheel and water representing emotions, you have opportunity to release the old emotions that have been holding you back. Deep core issues have opportunity to be release. Set your intention and spend time in meditation during the 6 minuets 39 seconds of the eclipse and allow all that is no longer serving you to be released with the eclipse. Set this intention on a personal, county and global level. This will create space within you, our country, our planet for new and wonderful change!

Preparing for the Solar Eclipse

Greetings... many of you have probably heard about the Solar eclipse that will be happening tomorrow evening at 7:35 pm PDT.

This solar eclipse is extra powerful for several reasons... first it is the 2nd new moon in the sign Cancer - 29 degrees. The new moon we had on June 22, 2009 was 0 degree's of Cancer. The beggining and end so to speak if you choose to look at this metaphorically. Think back over the past approximate month, what has come up for you, what has been brought to your attention? Do you feel you are moving towards resolution in some areas of your life or do you feel you are unclear about the next step. I am seeing both with my clients - it is all perfect. ASK for what you want! Even if it is crystal clear clarity!

This is also exceptionally long eclipse being 6 minuets and 39 seconds. Some are calling it the Solar eclipse of the Century.

The Divine Feminine energy is becoming more fully anchored onto the planet with this eclipse and will assist in balancing the energies of male and female on the planet. Actually my guides say it is a deeper awakening of her beautiful energy!

I suggest that each one of you make a list of what you want manifest in your life and doing a creative activity. Color a mandala, color in a coloring book.. grab some colored ink pens and scribble if that is all you have handy in your home of office. Allow the energy of "color" and the phsyical step of putting that color to paper to assist you through the eclipse and support your dreams come true...

You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life,
in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do
not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the
same way - the results will be the same, more abundance for you.

Here's how:

1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book.
Where it says "Pay to," write your name.

2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write "Paid in full."

3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount,
write "Paid in full."

4.) Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance"
Under the signature line, write Thank You (I write Thank You on all the checks I write)

5.) Leave the date blank

6.) Many times we have beliefs with in our sub conscious mind that thinks we don't deserve something.
You can leave the the specific amount open or to try this out, use a dollar amount you are comfortable
receiving... perhaps $500 (who couldn't use an extra $500 in the next couple of weeks?)

7.) Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.

You can burn the check on one of the upcoming full moon, expressing Gratitude for receiving
while burning.

Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time
they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely every month!
Try it yourself and see!

Finally... the official start of the Age of Aquarius! Have you felt the energy building intensely this past week. Many that I have spoken to have had headaches, are detoxing in some way or challenged with a bug or flu. I believe that much of the physical symptoms are due to this time we live in. Today marks a HUGE shift for us on planet Earth.

Nostradamus wrote many prophecies here is one that is connected to the Age of Aquarius...
