Though any of us would be horrified if we were faced with a T-Rex (well, horrified followed very shortly thereafter with eaten), after preschool and our subsequent obsession with the T-Rex, coupled with our complete lack of fear, he and the rest of the dinosaurs are forever cast into the realm of cute, especially in t-shirt form, much to what I would imagine would be their collective dismay.

Of course, no list of this nature would be complete without a pair of tiny folding knife earrings that actually work, for those moments when one feels they must inflict tiny, tiny wounds.

Okay, I admit it. I'm a sucker for all things IKEA, which means I visit the site all too frequently to plot my next purchase. We recently got a new TV stand which, with its adjustable shelf height and open design, might fit our needs a little better right now. That said, I love the Hemnes line, and this new piece is no exception. Though our primary palate is red and black-brown when it comes to IKEA, we have a lot of dark brown in our house. Nothing goes more beautifully with dark brown, in my opinion, than a soft blue, like the solid pine 8-drawer dresser comes in.

It just looks like a classic piece, doesn't it? And no fiber board for this bad boy – its solid construction makes it feel like a classic piece, too. But hey, don't take my word for it.
