President’s Message
Our lottery program is active for the month of April and tickets are available please contact me at info@CustodesPacis.org for your special number. We give away 3 scholarships to three of our children every year.

This year we have a new program to Custodes Pacis Lodge #2085:

I have been asked by our State president, Mike Creedan to coordinate a charity FUN walk in June of this coming year. The location for this walk is Tyler State park. Lane #1 trail off of route 332. See attachments for the details on the FUN Walk.

Our new Lodge Shirts will be available for sale during the next meeting and every meeting along with the April Lottery Tickets. Shirts are $20 and the Lottery tickets are $5/each for the entire month. Lodge pins, tie clips and coffee mugs are also available from the Custodes Pacis Lodge Store.

If you can’t wait to wear your new  CP shirt proudly, you can get one from Ron at his home, call for your fitting appointment 215-778-6427, and he will make sure your shirt is the right size for you!!!

ATTN: College Bound High School Seniors:
Custodes Pacis Scholarship Application deadline is extended until Friday, April 6, 2012.  Applications must be accompanied by AN OFFICIAL CERTIFIED HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT which will include the first semester of the applicant’s senior year and SAT scores.  All grades must be in NUMERICAL FORM.  Letter grades will not be accepted.  If your school assigns letter grades, the school must assign the numerical equivalent.  Be sure that your school mails your complete application (transcript and application) by the deadline listed above to:

Your Parent is in good standing of the Custodes Pacis Lodge #2085 for no less than three consecutive years.
You have a “B” average or above

I would like to ask all of our membership for their support of the Bowling Beef and Beer that we have planned for Saturday, December 5, 2009.  We had a wonderful time the last few times we ran this event.

Bowling Beef and Beer:  Saturday, December, 5, 2009, 9:30pm to 12:30am at Thunderbird Lanes, located on Holme Ave near Pennypack Circle.  The cost is $25.00 per person; 6 people per lane.  The cost includes unlimited bowling, shoe rental, food, beer, setups, and chips.  You are welcome to BYOB.  Anyone in need of tickets can contact any lodge member listed on the attached flyer.  Tickets usually sell fast, so reserve your lanes soon. Children’s Christmas party is scheduled for Saturday, December 19^th 11:00am at the FOP hall located 1300 Spring Garden Ave.

Please contact past, past President Joe Spera or Cathy Peluzzo  if you plan on attending. You will need to supply them with your child’s name, age and gender.  This is a free Party for the children and grandchildren of our lodge members. Children under the age of ten will receive a gift from Santa. There will be food (of course!), ice cream , music, face painting and lots of Christmas spirit.  If you would like to donate something for our sweets table, we would be more than appreciative.  If you don’t have children, you can still attend the event.  It’s a great time to come out and socialize with friends before the holidays.

Tickets are still only $5.00 for an opportunity to win for the month of November.  If the Pennsylvania nighttime lottery matches your ticket number, you will win $50 on weekdays, and $100 on the weekends.  Earnings from this fundraiser go exclusively to the Scholarship Program.
