Jennie and Brian’s wedding was awesome and gorgeous! It was our last wedding of the season and there couldn’t have been a better way to finish out the year. Their ceremony was at the beautiful Glen Avon Presbyterian Church in Duluth, MN and the reception was at the amazing Greysolon Plaza in Duluth.

Chris and Melissa — Wedding

Chris and Melissa are incredible, fun, gracious people and we were so happy to photograph their day! Their ceremony was at the Church of St. Patrick in Inver Grove Heights and their reception was at the Eagan Community Center. We loved all of the sentimental touches they put into their wedding… everything from grandparent’s rings tied onto Melissa’s bouquet to a cake decorated with the skyline of Chicago (where they were engaged). I love when beautiful meaning is poured into each detail.

Natalie and Chris — Wedding

We had such a FUN time photographing Chris and Natalie’s wedding! Their ceremony was at Crossroads Church in Woodbury and their reception was held at Mendakota Heights Country Club in Mendota Heights. It was a beautiful, awesome, gorgeous day.

Leigh and Eddie — Wedding

Beautiful day? Check… Awesome couple? Check… Amazing fun? Check. Leigh and Eddie’s ceremony was at the Church of St. William in Fridley, MN and their reception was at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis. The day was really sweet and oh so lovely. We had such a great time photographing these guys!!

Sarah and Andy — Wedding

Sarah and Andy’s wedding landed on a gorgeous Saturday. There were big, puffy clouds in the sky, warm temps… can’t get much better than that! Their ceremony was at Augustana Lutheran in West St. Paul. After the ceremony we made a stop at the Dodge Nature Center (hello, gorgeous skies!). Their reception was at Royal Cliff in Eagan.

Fall Mini-Sessions! (Update)

Hello all! After much thought, prayer, and conversation – Tamrah and I decided that I (Cory) will go to Puerto Vallarta on the missions trip in January. I’ve never been on a trip like this and am SO excited for the experiences ahead!

As far as the mini-sessions go on October 8th, nothing there has changed one bit. Tamrah and I will both be out photographing the sessions, and all of the details remain exactly the same. Down below is a slightly altered promo for the shoot (notice where it says “Cory” instead of “Tamrah”… pretty clever huh?)

So, guess what?!? No, I haven’t decided to give up coffee, silly. I’m going on a trip. A very special trip, in fact. I’m planning to head to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this January. And no, it’s not to get a tan (as anyone who knows me knows, my skin doesn’t take too kindly to sunbathing).

Actually, I have the great opportunity to go on a missions trip! I get to spend time caring for the kiddos there, distributing shoes, showing love. And the best part? I get to take my camera, document the trip, and share it with the world. I get to go on this spectacular adventure with the purpose of using my camera to show what people are doing down there to help and love people.

When some people hear the words Puerto Vallarta, they almost instantly say, “Oh, my! It’s beautiful there! Such a great place to vacation!” And while I’m sure that’s true, as in any place that is beautiful and exotic and full of tourists, there are people who are not able to share in the wealth of a beautiful place like that. I get to be part of a group from my church who is going to go to share love with those less fortunate.

I plan to partner with a lovely vintage couch to raise funds for my trip to Mexico. How, you ask? Well, check this out:

And you, my friends, can be a family/couple/individual sitting upon a couch on a field. I’m truly excited for this opportunity. Not only can I raise money for this trip, but I get to do something I’ve always wanted to do: photograph sessions with a lovely, vintage couch in the middle of a big, open, gorgeous field. Not to mention conditions look promising for peak fall color.

Session slots will be available every 45 minutes and will be 30 minutes long. Sessions are $200. Normally, we don’t provide a CD of high resolution images with our sessions, but because of the nature of these sessions, they will be included in the session fee of $200. These high-resolution files can be used for Christmas cards, prints or any other personal use. {In case of rain, Saturday, October 15th is the back-up date}.

Sarah and James — Wedding

Sarah and James’ wedding was all things lovely. We had an amazing time photographing their ceremony at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Prior Lake, MN and reception at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Prior Lake. The whole day was beautiful and full of great moments. Great moments = fun photos.

Stacy and Shawn — Wedding

I love that I get to blog about yet another amazing wedding and fabulous couple… and I will warn you, once you see the below photos you might just fall in love with Stacy’s shoes like I did. I ~~drooled over~~ admired them all. day. long.

Stacy and Shawn’s ceremony and reception were at the Graves 601 in Minneapolis. It was a wedding full of lots of humor and great music and we were so happy to be there!

Sam and Amanda — Wedding

Sam and Amanda are a wonderful couple with such beautiful love for each other. Their ceremony was so touching and full of emotion… I doubt there were many dry eyes in the crowd!

Their ceremony was at Presbyterian Church of the Way in Shoreview, MN. After the ceremony we went to Bethel University in St. Paul for some photos, and the reception was at Shoreview Community Center.

It was amazing to be your wedding photographers, Sam and Amanda! We are so happy for you!

Tonia and Michael — Wedding

Tonia and Michael’s wedding was so unique and inspiring! Every detail was amazing. Their ceremony and reception were at the beautiful Theodore Wirth Park Chalet in Golden Valley, MN.

Part of what made the day so special were all of the family and friends that traveled long distances to attend this wedding. Oh, and I’m not going to lie… listening to English accents throughout the day was more than awesome.

Such a great day and fantastic couple! We’re truly honored we were able to be part of it!
