Hello all!

We would like begin our series of update posts with some of our favorite newborn and maternity photos from the last “blog-less” months of portraiture. We think newborns are pretty awesome and are happy to share what we’ve been up to. Enjoy!

An update and some great news!

Hello all!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted but we are back to it and excited to share some new posts soon. What’s to come, you ask?

Well, to start, life with three boys is busy! We wish we would’ve been able to blog and share photos from every session we photographed in the last several months, but since we wear many hats (our most important being our parent hat) we made the decision to limit our blog posts through these months to mainly weddings. This was a tough decision, but freed up a great amount of time that we’ve been able to devote to our busy kiddos. We have absolutely cherished that time. With that said, we will soon be posting large-scale posts with some of our most favorite and not-yet-shared-with-you-all photos from these past months. This will include baby, maternity, senior, engagement, and family photos… we are excited to share!

We will also be sharing a blog post with some of the photos and experiences from Cory’s mission trip to Puerto Vallarta. It was life changing, to say the least.

Thirdly, we are very much looking forward to updating our main website with new photos and portfolios! We’ve photographed so many awesome people since the last time we updated, so this is fun for us. Stay tuned!

One more thing — we have some exciting news! We were notified last month by TheKnot.com that we are a “Best of Weddings 2012″ winner. What does this mean, you ask? Well, first of all, we get to proudly display this pretty thing on our website/blog:

Also, because we don’t advertise with The Knot, we weren’t initially sure what this award meant, but after some clarification we found out that 24 photographers out of 810 wedding photographers in the state of Minnesota were chosen based on reviews given by clients. So, we want to give a big shout out to our amazing clients! Thanks for making it such an honor to do what we do. We truly love it and think each and every one of you is AWESOME.

Jennie and Brian — Wedding

Jennie and Brian’s wedding was awesome and gorgeous! It was our last wedding of the season and there couldn’t have been a better way to finish out the year. Their ceremony was at the beautiful Glen Avon Presbyterian Church in Duluth, MN and the reception was at the amazing Greysolon Plaza in Duluth.

Jennie and Brian, we were so honored to be part of your day! You are a fantastic couple!

Chris and Melissa — Wedding

Chris and Melissa are incredible, fun, gracious people and we were so happy to photograph their day! Their ceremony was at the Church of St. Patrick in Inver Grove Heights and their reception was at the Eagan Community Center. We loved all of the sentimental touches they put into their wedding… everything from grandparent’s rings tied onto Melissa’s bouquet to a cake decorated with the skyline of Chicago (where they were engaged). I love when beautiful meaning is poured into each detail.

Congratulations, Chris and Melissa! We are so happy for you!

Natalie and Chris — Wedding

We had such a FUN time photographing Chris and Natalie’s wedding! Their ceremony was at Crossroads Church in Woodbury and their reception was held at Mendakota Heights Country Club in Mendota Heights. It was a beautiful, awesome, gorgeous day.

Leigh and Eddie — Wedding

Beautiful day? Check… Awesome couple? Check… Amazing fun? Check. Leigh and Eddie’s ceremony was at the Church of St. William in Fridley, MN and their reception was at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis. The day was really sweet and oh so lovely. We had such a great time photographing these guys!!

Sarah and Andy — Wedding

Sarah and Andy’s wedding landed on a gorgeous Saturday. There were big, puffy clouds in the sky, warm temps… can’t get much better than that! Their ceremony was at Augustana Lutheran in West St. Paul. After the ceremony we made a stop at the Dodge Nature Center (hello, gorgeous skies!). Their reception was at Royal Cliff in Eagan.
