Please call Domenic Bellone at 216-687-5423 or 216-687-5121.</description><link>http://northcampusneighborhood.blogspot.com/2009/12/question-2.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (CSU Capital Planning)</author></item><item><guid isPermaLink="false">tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4685363175285736230.post-1944615698719628236</guid><pubDate>Tue, 01 Dec 2009 20:05:00 +0000</pubDate><atom:updated>2009-12-04T10:02:08.556-05:00</atom:updated><title>Question 1</title><description>&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;If a parking deck is included in the housing RFP with the spaces  reserved for priority allocations to the residents can the costs be  included on the infrastructure bond by CSU and would the student's  purchase of a campus parking pass cover the payback of the deck  portion of the bond?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ANSWER:&lt;br /&gt;It is contemplated that the University would issue a tax-exempt bond to cover the site work, street, and parking deck ( but not surface parking for the exclusive use of the residents).  The bond debt would be retired using the proceeds of the Payment in Lieu of Taxes(PILOT) from the housing development.  The University would lease and operate a parking structure, and parking fees from non-University resident parkers would be turned over to the developer (or used to offset PILOT payments).
