Emergency Training Drill Taking Place on CRISTA Campus (10:00am Hour, August 27)

Hello! This is a notification of some emergency preparation training that will take place in the 10:00am hour on CRISTA’s upper campus on Wednesday, August 27. This drill is taking place with the assistance of the Shoreline Police Department. We wanted to alert you of their presence on our campus, and of the drill itself. King’s H.S. Event close to Greenwood Ave. (Sat, Sept. 28)

Hello – the purpose of this communication is to notify nearby neighbors of an event taking place between 6:30-8:30pm the evening of Saturday, September 28. For this two-hour period, a number of King’s High School students will be in the parking lot adjacent to King’s Garden Gymnasium (located at the corner of Greenwood and 195th). Thank you!

5K Fun Run to take place Tomorrow Morning

The “World Concern Free Them 5K” walk/run event has returned for the first time since the COVID pandemic, and will take place tomorrow morning in the streets surrounding the CRISTA campus. The event route includes parts of Fremont Ave. North, NW Richmond Beach Road, 3rd Ave, and 205th/244th Street SW. In partnership with the City of Shoreline, areas will be well marked and staff will assist with traffic flow. The children’s race begins at 8:30 am, with the main event beginning at 9:00 am. Full street access will be promptly restored as quickly as possible after the event. Thank you!

1st Avenue Gate to be Open Briefly on Tuesday, March 14

Greetings – we want to make you aware that the 1st Avenue gate on our campus will be open from 3:15-4:00 pm next Tuesday, March 14, to accommodate an on-campus transportation need on this particular day.

Woolsey Stadium Hosting Event this Saturday, Nov. 5

For your awareness, Cedar Park Christian school is hosting a youth football event at Woolsey Stadium this Saturday, November 5. They are expecting in total several hundred people to attend at different time periods during the day.

King’s Football Events Coming Up on Next 2 Fridays

King’s High School will be opening up its 2022 football season with home games on Friday, September 2, and Friday, September 9. Kickoff for both games is at 7:00 pm. Both games will also see the 1st Avenue gate by Mike Martin Gymnasium being opened up after halftime to assist with post-game traffic. We anticipate greater attendance for the September 9 game, due to school being back in session and pre-game festivities taking place on the King’s/CRISTA Ministries campus.

King’s High School Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, June 18

King’s Schools will be honoring their 2022 graduating class on the evening of Saturday, June 18. The 7:00 pm ceremony will take place at Woolsey Stadium on the CRISTA Ministries campus. Significant vehicular traffic is anticipated, but a parking and traffic assistance plan is in place and will be managed by CRISTA Security. If you have any concerns, please contact CRISTA Security at (206) 819-3000.

Cristwood Park Hill Closure

This is an informational note that CRISTA Ministries will need to route traffic through our alternate gate access at 1st Ave NW. CRISTA will be performing asphalt paving work on our main access off of N 190th St. to our Cristwood Park Retirement complex.

Weather permitting, this should be for 3 days during the week of Oct. 4th.

Please advise our security department should their be any concerns during this impact window and thank you for your patience.

King’s HS Kaleidoscope Event

On Saturday, September 25, the King’s High School student body will have an outdoor event on the King’s Elementary playground from 6-9 p.m. We wanted you to be aware of the event as we celebrate the launch of the new school year.
