Are you a puzzle lover? I’m so excited to share this with you all. A puzzle like no other made with my Tree of Life art (also available as an art print).

It was so fun putting it together with my family. My two boys loved it! The pieces are the highest quality and the puzzle was challenging enough to keep my guys in it till the end. It took the four of us about 3 hours from start to finish. It’s the first time (in a long time) that the kids worked on a puzzle with us for the entire time. A hug bonus for family time.

Beautifully made from natural hardwood, pieces cut into the most fun shapes called whimsies! It’s made extra special with a design on the back as well making it extra challenging if you choose to try putting it together from the back. There are also mini puzzles within the puzzle making it so much more fun!

It’s made by Hidden Piece Puzzles here in Arizona! A small family business. they created their puzzles out of their love of the arts, passion for mental health and the desire to help people connect.

I’m so happy to be able to participate in this event.  Many local artists were able to paint and decorate a Mexican ceramic pig in their own special way.  Here is my piggy:

Under the Crescent Moon

This is my contribution to the Day of the Dead exhibit happening now at Tohono Chul Gallery.  This image has a mock frame on it, but the original has a real, antiqued gold frame which looks really lovely on this piece. If you are in the Tucson area, you’ll have to go there and see it for yourself.

I will be taking a short break over the holidays and will be closing my online shop until January 2nd.  I am excited to do a bit of relaxing, spending time with my family, making goodies and taking a teeny road trip.

For now, I would love to gift you these last minute gift tags.  I know I am always looking for these the night before Christmas while wrapping my kid’s gifts.  This time I am prepared and want to share them with you!  If you have some already, you can save them for next year

2019 wall calendars are now available all sold out!

This stapled 12 month calendar features prints of my original paintings for you to enjoy throughout the year. Bright, colorful, beautifully vibrant — filled with whimsical birds, flowers and happy magic. Here in the Southwest, we finally had our first day of fall weather with rain and cool temps. It will warm up again for sure, but it sure was lovely!  I made the little painting above while blissfully listening to the rain.

And did you know that it is Art Season?  One of my favorite art collectors said to me the other day, “Have fun getting ready for art season!”  Her husband’s reply was, “There’s an art season? Is it like football season?”  It sorta is, if it means getting all excited about art!

Art Season is the time of the year in Tucson where we wake up from the sleepy summer heat and get ready for artisan holiday fairs. That means, lots of art making of all kinds.
