Hi everyone!

Halloween is almost upon us so I created a set of files to fit the theme. I created a set of svg files for your Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL) . I created these files myself, so they are not perfect, but free to download. This is the first of a line of desk calendars that I am going to make for my shop. this calendar is actually for a friend of mine to celebrate her new job.

On each page you have place to write down important dates and on the back, I glued pictures of my friend and her family. My desk calendar is a fun gift, that you can give to anyone in your life.

The Creating Cards series and my blog are on maternity leave until further notice. I am on my last stretch of my pregnancy and moving at a snail pace. So I decided to make life easy on myself and take a break from scrapbooking.

that yesterday was Wednesday and that I had to make a new Creating Cards episode.

I was involved with Baby Care and Breastfeeding classes that I totally forgot about it. So just a thumbs up....if you see me suddenly disappear, it's because my baby came!!!

Testing a new item in my shop

I am testing a new item in shop. So what do you think about it. They are paper embellished votive candles.....well the glass holder is embellished not the candle itself. I do not want a fire on my hands. So any thoughts? I know you are shy on comments.

Creating Cards - February 24th

Hello everybody!

In today's episode as a special request I included how I cut and fold my kraft paper for base of the card. I wanted to make a 4x4 card so I cut my paper at 4x8. I used my Tonic Studios' Guillotine , which I love, by the way. The next step is to fold my paper and for this I use my lovely T-shaped ruler. I do not think I could paper craft without my T-shaped ruler. I first use it to mark the middle of the paper, so I can fold it precisely. Then I use my ruler to draw a straight line with my bone folder. And just in case you are wondering I bought my it at Michael's ;).

The paper I used for this card is from Basic Grey's Lemonade collection and the stamp is one of Basic Grey's mini acrylic stamps (I do not believe it has a name).

Hello everyone!!

Happy Wednesday, create a card happy Wednesday!! Today I have a small size card, only 3x3. I used kraft cardstock as the base of the card and the rest of the card is just scraps of paper that I had around my scrap room.

Hello!!

I cannot believe another week just past, so here it is another episode. This is a very simple Valentine's Day card that can easily be replicated on an assembly line type of thing for when you need more than one. I used Kraft cardstock as the base of the card, BasicGrey Sugar Rush pattern paper, Inque Boutique heart stamp, Colorbox Chestnut Roan ink, white buttons.

Sorry for the late post, I was mesmerized by the new Apple I-Pad. It is a very nice toy. I do have a Kindle and I just love it, but still the I-Pad is a nice toy. I am not sure that I am going to jump to buy it as I already have a reading device that I am very happy with.

Ohhh well....now returning to this week's card. I used BasicGrey Nook&Pantry and Flower Stems stamp from Autumn Leaves.

I just created this recipe organizer and for the cover I designed the title "Yumminess inside", but I ended up using only "Yumm inside" because the title was a bit too long for the space that I had available.

I created recipe organizer because I just got a subscription for Cooking Light magazine and I am not the type of person to start stacking up magazines, but still want to keep the interesting recipes. The inside of the organizer has 60 sheet of paper, where I can glue the recipes I want to hold on to from magazines, but also I can write down new recipes from friends or internet.

What is better to inspire you on your first day at school than a nicely embellished composition notebook? I took a simple standard composition notebook and embellished the cover, the back cover and both inner covers.

The rich, gold, orange and red shades are elegant, but also confident, refined and daring. The size of the notebook is 9 3/4 x 7 1/2 inch and had 100 sheets (200 pages)
