Dear Fellow Conduit 2 players,

As you know, I am Lonelycitizen/Michael Totarella/ Oblivion. I am now rank 60, have all my loadouts the way I want them and pretty much win every match I play. I am looking for some talent, the best of the best, to join me to start a clan called Destruction. I crave a Challenge and I would like to know if you all would like to join my clan. There will be requirements suiting your stature but let me assure you we will not be beaten. Perhaps if each member could master a certain loadout (I eat n00bs with the Phase-R).

Requirements

-Must have at least 35,000 out of the 40,000 under achievements

-Must have the Welcome to Kill City Medal

-Must have the Super Kill/Awesome Kill medal (members with Awesome kill will be looked at first)

-Must have 2 of the unlockable perks [ be it phase tuning (50 uber Snip3rs), Stealth (50 Backstabs), Blinding Powder (50 Lights out), etc.

-Must be rank 56-60 (Higher Ranks will be looked at first)

-Must have all of the Primary A perks

-Must have an open file space, as all member will be required to start a new Profile with the upsidedown d followed by the capital foreign T and then the h in their name beginning

Hey guys, Domstang68 here. So, it may have been a school night. I may have had a lot of homework that day. But, I didn't care. I went to Gamestop and got Conduit 2 at 12:05 AM EST on April 19, 2011. I got home and put the game in my Wii. When I started the game, it was kind of like Heaven had burst out of my television set right in front of me. This game was impressive from the start. The graphics are improved like you can't believe, the gameplay is polished. Since I am a Classic Control Wielder, I decided to use that. I couldn't be happier. The map any button to anything works wonders for the classic controller. The Wii Remote and Nunchuck is better than last game, whether you have Wii MotionPlus or not. The game loads crazy fast. For instance, with a hacked Wii, The Conduit takes about 8 seconds to get to the campaign mission. Conduit 2 loads off the disc in 4 seconds, getting you to the shooting faster than ever. The new modes are an addition that was long needed. For you Halo fans, Invasion takes a firefight like stance, however, the game is much more difficult than Halo's firefight, no matter how easy you put it. But all in all, it was a great mode, except for it only has three maps that you can play it on, and for some reason, if you want to play by yourself, you still have to go to split screen to access it. I didn't have a chance to test the split screen, so I'll leave that judgement up to you. However, the online muliplayer is just something short of a military drill mission list. With the combinations adding up to 40 modes, plus 12 players together, plus 12 maps, including some from the first game, must I explain? There is simply too much to cram in this small space, so I will go for the basics. It retains the 12 players from last game, as well as some maps, upgraded to take advantage of the new software. Secondly, no more voting system. You get a choice between 2 maps, essentially like Call of Duty. The gameplay for this? Improved ten-fold from The Conduit's, which was already extremely well put together.

However, what is a good review without any complaints? As much as I hate to say so, I did have a few minor issues that don't retract from the game, but I wanted to bring them up. First off, the intial cutscenes are pre-rendered, meaning a computer drew them out for the Wii and it plays them like a tape recording. When you play the game, the Wii has to draw that, that is called rendering. Some of the cutscenes were grainy and less quality than the gameplay, yet they were pre-recorded. But not a big deal. My second complaint is that Invasion has a frame rate that can very widely. It is the only mode that starts at 60 Frames Per Second and can drop to 30, as well as be anywhere in-between that. But, again, not a big deal.

All in all, I give this game a 9.8 out of 10. It has pretty much done everything it was supposed to live up to and more, and those small complaints of mine didn't detract from the gameplay, I am just being critical. BTW, I will eventually post my friend code here.

P.S. Screw you Nintendo for giving this game a 7.5 just to promote your own software. At least HVS decided to do this on your console, making you plenty of money in Licensing fees.

Apparently Game Informer first on the scene to say it is more powerful than both X-Box & PS3! Though this is obviously the beginning cause it isn't even scheduled to possibly released till late 2012, and that isn't counting delays and such. So Hold on tight, the next wave of consoles is coming FAST!

Two new Conduit 2 videos.

Well, these ones tell us some striking new features, in the online multi-player, and single player.

The two videos gives us a fraction, of the Loadouts, and the Medal and Achievement system available in the game. If you pay attention, you can see some major graphical differences of some of the maps, from the first game. We see Streets, and Sanctum Prime. One thing I noticed about Streets, is the smoke in the background. Wow! I'm pumped!

believe it or not, there is an Achievement for T-Bagging.

Well, the day of redemption is almost here. Gamers happiness meter is probably 1thousand feet above max level, and we are trying to prepare our wiis. Mine is currently at Nintendo getting fixed and polished. Anyways, in honor of the single digit day count, I thought it would be apporiate to gather a group of people who are going to the midnight release and play with each other online that night. Ive personally talked to gamestop and they said the only people that can get the game at the midnight release are those people who have pre-ordered the game, so make sure you do that! C2 moving to ps3: Bad News from HearMii

A few days ago, HearMii got a very exclusive interview with Nintendo talking about a few things such as the Wii2 (or the real name of the next gen console for nintendo) and unforunately, other info reguarding Conduit 2.

"I can also confirm today that xenoblade and the last story will not see a u.s. launch until 2012 for their slated to be a wii 2 launch title here in north America. On a side note some bad news for you Nintendo fanboys, conduit 2 will be getting a port to ps3 later this holiday with 3D and move support so look out for that when its shown this year at e3 form high voltage software, they also talked about a possible ngp version to release alongside the 3ds one as well."

This information has only been confirmed by one site, so don't hold true to it just yet. More info will arrive soon.

Conduit 2 Second Score: 9.2 by Gametrailers User

Well with only being 19 days away, scores for Conduit 2 are dripping in, and although one of them was lower than expected (see Larnok's blog for verbal castration of Nintendo Power :P) , another score has been found, this time much higher and more expected from us fans. Gametrailers User generated Conduit 2 as receiving a 9.2. This score is much more believable, and if you dont believe me the links at the bottom. The First Review (For Conduit 2) is In!

Yes, yes, this is somewhat 'old' (2 days?) news, but I have set to see a comprehensive collection of the same on the main site, so here it is:

Nintendo Power gave Conduit 2 a 7.5.

Before the flaming party begins (or continues in this case), I highly suggest you actually read the review.

Now once you've read that, you'll notice there are only a couple things that Nintendo Power criticized in Conduit 2: Cheesy voice acting, only semi-epic moments in the single player campaign, and "set pieces" (AKA scenic location, etc). Nearly everything else they mentioned was positive. First of all, the first two may or may not be true, but although I abstain from flaming this review, I can honestly say that is pushing it. In fact, Nintendo Power went as far as to promote their own recent wii fps (Goldeneye 007) for superior set pieces (scenery). Having played GE thick and through, I can honestly say there is not a single level scenery that is more gorgeous and awesome than that of the very first in Conduit 2: the oil rig. That's JUST the first level. Clearly its just a biased marketing push, but let's disregard that for now.

Everything else that was in the review that criticized the game, were very simple minor details that don't even relate to the actual gameplay. If minor game details like that are the biggest flaws, how can the game be rated a 7.5? Everything else in the review points to an 8.5 to a 9. The simplest explanation, quite honestly, is because Nintendo Power, which can alter / affect Conduit 2's overall score by influencing other critics, WANTS Conduit 2 to fail. The motive is simple: less Conduit 2 sales, more Goldeneye 007 sales. This is a likely explanation, but other possible explanations include a harsher reviewer who might have given the Conduit (the original) a 6 (in comparison to the 8 that it got) to compensate for why Conduit 2's score was a half point below the original.

Conduit 2 GDC update: 3DS

After looking at a few things, thanks Jon, I saw that the Conduit 2 port has been transferred to the 3DS. Now after watching a video with Eric Nofsinger that did confirm it is just a port of C2's universe. So it will be it's own game, and seems promising.
