The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Concordias Chapel of Our Lord, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest. Admission is free. Christian leaders and authors Dr. Kurt Senske and Rev. John Nunes will be featured as speakers at Concordia University Chicago March 15 at 7 p.m. Senske and Nunes, who are long-time friends, will be speaking about vocation, social justice, leadership and their new books The Calling: Living a Life of Significance and Little Things Make Big Differences, respectively. This event is part of Concordias On Campus Speaker Series and is open to the community. The Rev. Dr. Charles Arand, a theological expert and Waldemar A. and June Schuette Chair in systematic theology at Concordia Seminary St. Louis, will speak at Concordia University Chicago March 24. Arands discussion Together with All Creatures: Christian Responsibility for the Care of Creation will take place at 7 p.m., in the Chapel of Our Lord. His presentation will address questions such as: What should the proper role of the Church be in conservation efforts? To what extent are individual Christians called to action?

Chicago artist Margaret Buchen brings her collection of acrylic paintings, monotypes and drawings inspired by silent films, classic films and popular culture to the Ferguson Art Gallery at Concordia University Chicago in celebration of Womens History Month. Buchens New Works will be exhibited Feb. 21-March 20 at the gallery on Concordias campus in River Forester. An artists reception will be held 2-4 p.m. Feb. 27. Buchen, a Chicago resident, will give a special artists gallery talk at 7 p.m. on March 2.
