After months offline Concise Bahamas News is back. That's right, Bahamas Local has decided to buy CBN, which consists entirely of yours truly, Dominic Duncombe.

Starting Monday, January 4th, you can enjoy the same quality story selection and summaries on a brand new site.

To find it, go to <a href="http://www.bahamaslocal.com/"{ target="_blank"}>www.bahamaslocal.com and click on the News tab in the categories at the top right of the page. Or you can go directly to the news by clicking <a href="http://www.bahamaslocal.com/news/"{ target="_blank"}>www.bahamaslocal.com/news.

Now that CBN has funding, I'll be passing along the benefits to you with lots of new features. The first change is that the stories will be more current, with summaries from the current days papers.

For now, please bookmark <a href="http://www.bahamaslocal.com/news/"{ target="_blank"}>www.bahamaslocal.com/news. Stories will be updated every morning.

Goodbye from Concise Bahamas News

Today's CBN Post will be the last.

The amount of work involved is far greater than I anticipated and it is much too involved for a side-project.

Thank you to all who have supported the site, especially those who have shared the site with others. Your support has been deeply appreciated.

Thanks to all those who have toiled away with me for no reward other than my constant verbal violence (Gina & Arthol especially).

To all the readers, please remember only we can support Bahamian projects; with our criticism and our love.

I will be using the 4-6 hours a day that I have given to CBN to pursue some of my other documentary projects - especially on <a href="http://domsbahamasphotos.blogspot.com/"{ target="_blank"}>www.dominicduncombe.com - so keep an eye out.

May you find success and learning in all you do.

Well I had to give you one more TED talk. I loved this one and so did my father. It's funny and insightful.

It's about the environment, life and what you can do when you make up your mind to do something. I'm not the first person to say that when you want something badly enough the whole world conspires to give it to you.

I learned a lot from it and I hope you do to.
Daniel Ferguson, the accountant, was chosen to review financial documents in a matter to decide how profits should be shared between three unnamed parties.
Lawyers in the matter said Lyons had forced the accountant on them, threatening to leave the court if they objected. When asked if his actions were an ultimatum Lyons replied, "you bet it is".
