Eh, I’m also one who read the earlier thread back when it came out. I have to agree with Leo and Dan here, photo face masks have been experimented with pretty much from the birth of modern photography. Though hand on heart I cannot name any examples that I have seen, its at least, pretty clear that you weren’t the sole originator of the idea.

But why work so hard claiming as such anyway? Every time you do you end up looking like a bit of a pratt, that letter you were so proud to show in your last thread was evidence enough of that.

Just step back a bit, you obviously do a good job on the idea and its something that while not something utterly unique, it’s fairly rare to see. Be happy that people CAN turn to you for such things and if they decide they can do the job on their own, just say “Their loss, I could have done it better”.

Sorry to inform you guys, but that tee Is NOT an Erratic design. We have our tags on all OUR tees. The vendor space was a collaboration of clothing lines and an independent distributor that shared the vendor space for a few of the Rock The Bells dates. Our banner was up on the tables WE had ERRATIC tees at. Once again, Erratic has NOTHING to do with that ugly jack move. Thanks for Trying to bring us down. More research will help you in the future. Normally, I come down hard on the side of the creators of art when I read this site. This particular offense seems to be non-commercial, essentially student work– it may not be optimal practice, but I don’t see anything egregious– UNLESS THE DA USER IN QUESTION CLAIMS THEY ARE 100% ORIGINAL. I frequently start illustrations from photographs (although I have enough common sense to take them myself!).
