It's a DRM (Digital Rights Management) issue, nothing is wrong with your Harddrive. If you are connected online on Xboxlive then these will play fine as full versions. You must have moved the games from the original Xbox 360 used to download them as that forms part of the DRM not just your harddrive.
You can migrate these once a year according to M$ but I dont know if this is only Harddrive to harddrive, other option they have given in the past is to delete them off you harddrive, clear the cache and redownload them again, this worked with me and the Shivering ilses

that sounds kind of odd...so you took your 360 and the arcade games you had purchased were reverted back to trial games...i'm going to assume you've signed into xbox live right?
Honestly guy i have no clue on how to start answering your question if i were you i'd call x-box support and see if they can't give you a clear answer as to what may have happened...
best of luck!

wouldnt have happened, only possible time this would happen is if you change regions, i.e. moved from UK to USA. But even then i dont think it would.
You are more likely trying to use your mates profile on your xbox 360 or vice versa. Arcade games are stored to the memory device, if you have an achievement for sonic, this doesnt mean that putting your gamertag on your mates xbox 360 will unlock sonic, you will need your gamertag on YOUR memory device
Seriously sounds like your trying to unlcok games you aint paid for.

X-box, PS3, Blu-ray and HD-DVD players have the same connections as a standard DVD player, such as Composite, S-Video, and Component video. OUTPUTS as well as Analog Stereo and Digital Optical and Digital Coaxial Audio OUTPUTS.
By utilizing the receiver it provides the capability to switch between your different components, i.e Xbox, DVD, and uses its internal amplifier to drive your speakers for audio and push the video to your display. Just look as to what is labled an OUTPUT and what is INPUT.

I don't know much about the play and charge kit, but I'm guessing it doesn't have a wireless receiver in it. (wireless from the Controller to the kit?)
What you need is thishttp://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbo…

Cut and paste from my webpage.
-=-=-=-
"Is there a way to connect an XBOX 360 wireless controller to my PC using the Play & Charge Kit?"
Unfortunately, no. Ironically, if you had the Wired controller, you could just plug it in the computer and it would work perfectly, but who goes and buys wired controllers? The driver may only allow you to charge the controller, but there is no communicating that takes place.
In order to use a wireless controller/controllers on your PC, you need to purchase a "Wireless receiver for Windows" (Basically $20)http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbo…
I have one, and it works great.

To configure PPPoE settings on your Xbox 360 console, follow these steps:
Move to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard.
Select Network Settings.
Select Edit Settings.
On the Additional Settings tab, select PPPoE Settings.
Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the PPPoE information that was provided to you by your uni.
Select Done.
Select Apply and Test when you are prompted to do this.
If this doesn't work use ICS to connect through the PC or laptop but remember to remove all PPPoE Settingshttp://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xb…

yes its possible. only with a computer with both wireless and LAN
you will need a computer there are two ways.
The first way disables clear communication to and from your xbox and PC but a clear connection to the internet
The second way avoids the unclear communication of your xbox and pc but may cause a bit of network issues
Your choice!

FIRST WAY :
(only for vista)
GO TO: control panel > network and sharing center > view status
> properties (AT THE BOTTOM) > [continue] > (the sharing tab at the top)
> (check box labeled: [Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection]) > [OK] >
close all windows and plug your Xbox into your computer and
Vuala your now connected to Xbox Live
just make sure your computer is connected to the internet to complete the process.

SECOND WAY:
(only for Vista)
(((!!! CUT ALL CONNECTIONS TO THE INTERNET FIRST only as a precaution !!!)))
GO TO: control panel > network and sharing center > manage network connections (on the left side)
> highlight BOTH [Local Area Connection] and [Wireless Network Connection]
> right click > select [Bridge Connections] > continue >
then close all windows, connect to the internet, plug in your xbox and BOOM you just made your LAN and Wireless on big route through your computer.

Both ways may cause NAT issues. just Google to find a fix.
NAT stands for Network Address Translation, its what computers use as a better way to communicate securely.
any more questions? email me at: dagger350xbox@gmail.com

base of operation, NO there is no difference between the regular and the elite version. it all depends on how much your willing to spend. the elite comes with twice as much hard drive storage compared to the regular, and it also comes with some extra goodies that you wont have to go out and by later because you bought the elite version. no matter which console you buy, your still going to have to cough up the money for Xbox Live if you want to play online. that ain't cheap but it isn't ridiculous either.
Believe me, from my personal experience, the Xbox 360 gives you a better gaming experience than the PS3 could ever offer.
TIPS:

1. if your'e going to have your Xbox 360 in an entertainment center or shelf, consider buying an inexpensive device called an inter-cooler. it promises to extend the lifespan of your Xbox 360 by some year or so.

2. if you have an HDTV that you want to hook up your Xbox 360 to, I would recommend getting the elite, for it comes with an HDMI cord
(WARNING: TECHNICAL STUFF --> {High-Definition Multimedia Interface} gives you the best picture available, and as an extra feature: the HDMI cord allows devices to talk to each other in order to find the best possible resolution fit for the screen. other cables cant do that!)

3. remember!: "Wireless isn't always best" a corded controller is proven to last longer and is more durable than >some< wireless controllers (not all).
Plus batteries are expensive!

Once again it all comes down to how much you want to spend on your NEW Xbox 360.
i would personally choose the Elite: 1. its Black (cant bet that) 2. comes with other advanced but simple goodies for your hardware. 3. ITS BLACK!!!
so i hope the choice is clear you might as well spend the extra hundred dollars or so for a better console

They used to cost a lot more!!!
any more questions? just email me at: dagger350xbox@gmail.com

you could firewall your xbox 360 by finding out the local ip address that would look similar to: 192.168.2.1
