Hi Wes
I had no idea you were such a pioneer in glass and kiln firing as well as posters. Kindred spirits maybe. I spent 18 years working in glass, leaded, etched (sometimes 8 hours at a time in a sandblasting booth) fused, cast, painted and fired. Culminating in 4 summers in the late eighties as a teaching assistant/ tech at the Pilchuck School here in Washington state. I worked with some of the most innovative artists in the field including those who had never experienced glass as a medium like Judy Phaff, maya lin etc I burned out 20 years ago on it as a medium but sometimes consider revisiting it too. Peace

I was lucky enough to hear Wes Wilson give a short talk at the Denver Art Museum earlier this year (along with Stanley Mouse and others), and it was amazing. His talk was so insightful, spirited and illuminating. I was surprised by how vibrant and lucid his I would highly recommend taking the opportunity to see him speak in person.
