Congrats! It really is exciting to see what the book looks like. And,
best of all it has been written by one of our own members.

Now we just have to wait for "Here Comes The Pope" to be finished and published. (My thought on what the title should be or something like that)

Hugs,

Hello
Thank you for your commeent. Altitude should not have an affect on the sprouting of the seeds. With the correct amount of moisture at the correct temperature the seeds should sprout. If the seeds are old, they may not sprout well as germination rates go down with time and temperature. Soaking overnight is an important step that some people neglet to do. This will have an impact on the sprouting seeds. I hope this was helpful. Pls do not hesitate to contact me if you need more information. Thank you Sprout Lady Rita

I have a general question: I recently spent a few months in Denver Co & tried twice to sprout seeds & failed both times. The first time I think I just didn't rinse them often enough but the second attempt they started to sprout then stopped. Does altitude affect them? I kept them inside so the cold wasn't a factor. I just don't know what I did wrong...any help/advice would be appreciated.
thanks

Hello Leigh
Thank you for your message and your purchase as well. I apologize for the length of time it has taken me to answer. The message was mixed up in some spam and I did not see it until just now. I apologize for that. Wisdom blend can be soaked for about 8 to 10 hours. You can do the soaking right in the Easy Sprouter itself. Rinse it two times each day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Wisdome blend is ready to eat in about 5 days. I hope this was helpful and again I apologize for the long delay. Thank you Rita

Hi! First time sprouter. I bought your Wisdom Blend via Amazon.com. I have an EasySprout brand plastic sprouter. Do you have any suggestions for me as far as rinsing, soaking times, and sprouting times for these seeds? I am open to receiving any sprouting tips you have. Thank you!

Best,
Leigh Oates

I found the Sprout House via Amazon.com and couldn't be happier about it! I love sprouts, and in northern Minnesota, the only way to get them fresh is to sprout them myself. In winter we don't see green, so I love having super fresh greens every day via my sprouts. I ordered a sampler and have enjoyed trying new varieties every few days. Thanks for being the Sprout Lady Rita!

Hi Ross
Thank you for your comment.
You can use 1/2 teaspoon to 16 ounces of water if you are using regular hydrogen peroxide, like the type you get at the pharmacy for first aid reasons. If you are using food grade hydrogen peroxide, I would use more as that is a lesser percentage, so something like 1 tablespoon to 16 ounces of water. And yes, you can also spray/mist the seeds while they are germinating in the trays. As the grass grows, concentrate on the misting the roots more than the blades of grass. Hope this helps. Pls let me know if i can be of any further assistance. Thank you Sprout Lady Rita

hi there Rita,
I am growing barley grass for our cattle in seed trays on baby blanket.
what concentration of hydrogen peroxide to water do you use in the soaking process? Also cant you spray/mist the seeds whilst they are germinating in the trays to stop mildew or mold setting in?

Regards
