@Uros: Simplified, the probability on each edge is the inverse of the number of edges going out of the original node (the number of links the original page has).

Hm, how is a directed graph used in Page ranking a Markov chain, if it doesn’t have probabilities on the edges? Or am I missing something?

@Pavel: The PageRank value of a page is directly related to the probability of being in that page in the steady-state (stationary distribution) of the system defined by the web graph as described above.

To strengthen Chris’ comment, it simply is not true. That would be a type of coNP problem. An NP language is accepted whenever an accept condition can be reached in polytime.
