Nice blogging, Tim! :)
This grad school list was great; I'm sure it will come in very handy for me in the future . . .

I think the best thought this guy lists is number 6. After that, number 7. Mostly, though, Thought #6 is the best. :)

Ohhhhh . . . This is what you were talking about with that girl from Emory at Barcamp. Sounds pretty dang useful -- well, it will be useful when I go back to school, anyway.

Thanks for the tips, as usual. :)

The date ranges are all based on accessing these sites from the Georgia State University network so your access will vary depending on where you access these links from. Here are some additions and a few updates based on access attempts made on 2/12/09

Additions

JSTOR actually has better scans for MIS Quarterly articles prior to 2000 and they also go all the way back to 1977. MIS Quarterly at JSTOR

Management Science is also available through JSTOR from 1954-2004. Management Science at JSTOR

Updates

Information Systems Research is now available from 1998-Present

European Journal of Information Systems is currently only available for 2008

Communications of the AIS and Journal of the AIS both require AIS membership to access.

That summary is so, so true. It's one of the reasons I like Web development and content management. There's absolutely no way to design a site, for example, unless you have the content. But you also can't come up with all the content, unless you have an idea of what the design or form will be. It really turns linear time and cause-and-effect relationships upside down, and at the moment, gets me thinking about God and the way he views time. I wonder how he created the Earth . . .

Good grief! We'll have to talk about this offline. Or maybe I should just go read some Faulkner . . .

Insight number one is almost exactly what I was talking to you about on Sunday. Sort of. My eventual point was that we need more meaningful conversations in the world, and I, for one, think they start by being engaged, focused, and getting personal.

Hm. Netweaving. I like it.

It's interesting to see different "disruptive innovations" sprouting up. University courses being opened up to people outside of a specific campus provides one example. See: http://open.byu.edu/ipt692r-wiley/quests/
