Hi,

I have just found your website and especially you revised breed standard report and petition.I just thought maybe you could help the Uk again.I am not quite sure if you know about their new intentions.I am sure you have but we are still on the 15 High profile breed list and out of the 175+ breeds in our country I personally don’t believe we should be so high on the list but also they are introducing vet checks in 2012 to all on the list when gaining the 3rd CC or when the get BOB to be allowed in the Best in Show ring.I have nothing wrong with health checks but feel all breeds should be vet checked not just single the 15 breeds out and maybe not checked so high up the dogs career.When they get their 1st CC or Stud book number.The Breed Council in Uk had arranged an open meeting with all us Chowists in the UK on 10th April.I have started a cause on Facebook.Look forward to hearing from you.All the best Andrea

Needless to say, I was devastated when I heard of what happened to Karen’s dogs. I have purchased 2 Chows from Karen, one for my wife and I and later, one for my Daughter. Karen’s devotion and love towards her dogs was very evident. 10 years ago I purchased Max from Karen. He was a red male. His tail didn’t turn so he had a pom pom for a tail but he was a great pet. We feed him 98% fat free chicken, basmati rice and only spring water. Today I had to make the hardest decision of my life, Max had a tumor on his heart and cancer in his stomach, I put him to sleep today….we had the best 10 years of our life with Max and it was because of you Karen! My heart goes out to you. Thank you for all the joy your dogs have given us. One day we will all meet our loved ones “over the rainbow bridge”.
