I took the Advanced class a year ago...Absolutely a must do/have if you have taken his beginners class. Here you take the techniques you learned from there and applied it to the advanced class. Great experience for everyone!!

Ah, Erik -- you should be a motivational speaker. Wait a minute -- you pretty much ARE!

Thanks for putting out the call.

If I may be serious for a moment, I really have to tell you that most of our volunteers are putting in many hours of hard work, and seriously care about health care reform. It's why Kat and I began this thing in the first place. We truly had no idea it would get so big so fast. Access to this information is very important and we hope to make it available permanently.

Just within the past few days, a few of our people, like Sergei Burbank and Chris Mezzolesta, have read over 100 pages of this stuff -- and it's not poetry. People offer to read more every day -- to ask what else we need. These are not people out for an easy ride. Kat is buried under mounds of audio, piles of email, developing guides and answering questions, and Roger Baker has been listening to full days of files quality checking hours and hours at a time. We have some incredibly dedicated people. I'm pounding the digital pavement and brainstorming ideas with others on our team to get us all that good press and media attention and to keep it there. A filmmaker, Sara Wolkowitz, with no vested interest at all in VO, volunteered to produce our video PSA.

Yes, it's rewarding, but the self-rewards are hard-earned, and are more karmic than corporate.
