On a sidenote, I read Fitti’s blog with some degree of sadness. Imagine abusing your child just because she resembles your ex whom you hate. I really can’t comprehend that… I cannot imagine hurting the girls just because they look like him somehow.

Welcome to the land of … big boobs.

The one thing I am sure you will enjoy, is that you will easily find clothes your size. At 1.7+m and 68kg, my wife is just slightly smaller than I am, but it’s not easy to find clothes her size back home.

Enjoy the summer dresses, they look good on a larger frame and are incredibly popular here.

Amazing this message of resting in His love and grace. I’ve started a ‘church’ coz I couldn’t find one at all. And there are 4 core families who are very into JP’s ministry. Their lives have been tremendously transformed by the grace message.

I’ll keep you posted in the loop that I regularly send out.

I once saw an anti-vice operation in action. When I re-tell my story to a friend about how the policeman grab the street walker by the hair, he told me the reason is that the only place he **CAN** touch is her hair. If he touches any other parts of her body he would be in deep trouble. Now, I certainly don’t see AWARE protest that either… but of course, AWARE doesn’t care about foreign women, do they? They care more about LESBIAN women.

I would like to celebrate the true spirit of feminism by respecting the choices and rights of other women (though I might not agree with them).

And really, once you start on the subject of objectification, then we really have to object to Ladies’ night, prostitution (legal or not) etc. If AWARE are to be taken seriously at all, surely there are more pressing issues to be addressed than the dress choice of a few ladies and the promotion tactic of a club named Overeasy?

I don’t appreciate being dictated on my choice of attire, and I am sure no one would. Fashion is after all, a very personal expression of individualism. Who is any woman/ man or organization for that matter, to dictate what a woman should wear or should not?

Welcome back, Rachel! So good to see you back.

Don’t blog for others, blog for yourself, blog for your girls. Blog about things you want to cherish and remember for a long time. Blog so that next time, if you so wish, you girls will be able to glimpse into their mother’s life and their own lives when they were younger.

I started blogging when I was going through a break-up (after I found my then-bf cheated on me – EXACTLY 4 years ago today). I was tired of crying on my friends’ shoulders, I was sure they were tired of listening to me as well, I needed an avenue to rave and rant (I did not need answers). It was cathartic.

Now, I’m fully healed and on a brand new journey already.

I love the above post. So true.

And babe, welcome back again!
