Love the workstation setup, which I have to admit I'm somewhat duplicating. Wanted to point out that the Ikea adjustable legs that you have linked may be the wrong ones. Picked up the ones you had linked first, realized there wasn't a way to attach them to the table-top. Tried these: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60105301 and winner!

Thanks for the workstation desk idea!

Hey I really like your sawhorse legs for your workstation. Where did you find them... or how did you make them? I'm looking for something similar for my workstation. Thanks.

Thanks all for the comments!

@Xilex: the legs are affixed with the screws that come with them - because I stayed far enough away from the edges (to stay away from compression/breakage from the screws) I didn't need pilot holes. I think it works to have legs screwed on with the counter top resting down onto the legs, however, I'm not sure that it would be a good idea to hang much weight from the desk. To that end - I do have a cable organizer that is screwed to the underside of the desk, but that is only holding up 1lb max - I assume a keyboard tray + the weight of your hands while typing would be > 1lb.

@Jimmy: the counter tops are held together with a couple small metal plates something like this.

@Alan: This is the glass beast.

@Timmy: The wall color is some shade of grey that is the stock color where we rent - nothing too special :D

@Dom: the counter top is decently heavy (dense fiber or particle board I think) and I think it would work great with just the 4 legs. Good Luck!

Great looking set up. Is the Pragel countertop heavy? Do you think four of those legs would hold up the countertop if it were one solid piece (without the draws)?
