Incidently and unfortunately I happen to watch this programe today and felt ashamed with anger to the content of this misleading telecast. Wonder who allowed them to air it.
The so called Khaled Zaheer totally misguided the viewers of the sayings of The Holy Quran by providing a wrong translation of Surah Nur.= in answer to the question asked by Mari b in a bitter tone.
What this Surah says is
"30. Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

31. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like palms of hands or one eye or both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms, etc.) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful."

May Allah Subhana be merciful upon. Ameen

Really interesting topic to talk about..I'm also the student of Marketing and I think Pakistani Ads are lacking an important part, which is nudism...may be due to islamic culture or overall environment but I think Brands should be more Open to express themselves.

Btw, Both ads were good and conveying there message well. Nudity fact is there but its essential to grab the attention of the viewer.

There was a study that came out sometime last year, done by WPP Groups's research team that asserted that high performance was backed by continuous strife towards maintaining loyal customers.

And heres why.

Ask anyone is the B2C business and they'll confirm it as a fact that customer acquisition in 3 fold more expensive than customer retention.

Retained customers not only back up your product against untapped customers, but also BUY MORE of it.

As a marketer for a B2C company, you're guaranteed protection from the competition and handed pricing power in the marketplace.

Top this of with the common side effect of creating a platform for deeper customer relationships and you've worked towards lowering the overall cost of customer acquisition and increasing market share and revenue.

It is not merely a matter of semantics when a marketer speaks of customer experience.

By going through the numerous reports in WPP's website, one can quickly ascertain that we are becoming an experience economy - perhaps we have always been one.

They (WPP research teams) say that customers are not buying the product or service but the total experience around its consideration, purchase , use and service.

A common misconception among key stakeholders is viewing loyalty programs as a gauge for a company's commitment towards doing all it can to Improve customer loyalty.

What they fail to grasp is simple that a loyalty program is a PART of your overall brand equity building strategy and it to say the east a team effort going outside the reaches of marketing alone.

Incentives alone do not win over customer loyalty.

Involvement of key internal players is not only crucial to be goal of a loyalty scheme but differentiates the feel from other companies. I believe KESC has done a fine job in this regard under leadership from Farees Shah, heading the distribution department in Karachi. From customer complaints, to repairs to research team, there is one singular and consistent message.

At KESC, Operations, HR, Communications and marketing are all on board with one unified and agreed attitude to convey to the public. They have been order for instance to tell calling in customers that their electricity will come back later than the actual time for e.g. if they say 1:30am is the time your lights come back on, it actually means 1:15am.

Its part of a change in culture as well to differentiate from a Pakistani norm of meaning 2 hours when we say 1 hour.

It's this kind of loyalty that generates high performance.
