Exactly what brand and color of yarn did you use for your giraffe? I love, love, love that gray color with the specks of white (heather look). Also, it doesn’t look like wool (which I prefer not to use because it’s so itchy)

Thanks for this post – I think I might give this a shot. God knows I could certainly use the help in keeping myself on track. I agree with you, btw, that most things I find referencing ADHD perpetuate a distorted stereotype of the disorder. This, on the other hand, feels like it could actually be a useful tool.

Oh, we make those things as well (not with ice cream, though), usually filled with a sweet mixture of coconut shreds and other things, call them kajji kaya. Here’s a video showing the process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-_qKF1beB8 We make them by hand, although I’ve seen presses also.
