Existing size 205/45/16 New size 195/65/15

Your calculator says speedo at 30mph (existing) will be 32.2mph (new)
Your calculator says speedo at 60mph (existing) will be 64.4mph (new)

Wiltheyfit.com says the reduction in rim size decreases actual speed reading
speedo at 30mph will become 27.9mph and
speedo at 60mph will become 55.9mph

In view of discrepancy, please explain which is correct & why

Thanks Mike

No you can't. Narrowband sensors use the 0-1v range. Wideband is 0-5v range. So it wouldn't work. Many wideband controllers have a simulated 0-1v narrowband output though, so you can wire the simulated output to the right ecu pin and the 0-5v to your gauge and/or datalogger. If you have an aftermarket ecu, many can take the 0-5v input.

Hi thanks for great site very useful to me.
As speedos are not accurate and usually run slow
I changed my tyres from standard
195x50x15 to 185x60x15 on my fiesta these make quite a difference when driving on bad roads (better shock absorbance) and it slightly alters the gearing so now when an indicated 30mph on speedo I am doing 30mph.
as checked out with my satnav.

thanks.
