2012: Firefox 11, Windows Vista, Dual Core, DirectX 11, Radeon HD5800 and it’s still jerky… not always, but occasionally on larger videos. However, holding the mouse button down on the time slider of the video causes it to play smoothly! But holding or rigging the mouse button for the duration of a two hour film is not entirely practical.

Rob O. – Using Google Reader to read my stuff is the safest way. It provides a sanity buffer. Direct exposure is always dangerous–I’ve lost readers that way.

Elaine – I don’t know about that “part time” nursing thing. Isn’t that where you only have to work 60 hours a week? Doesn’t sound very “part time” to me. Congratulations on getting your NJ license though. Is having a Jersey accent part of the requirements still or did they do away with that?

Thanks for the mention and kind words Kirk. Yep if it were not for you I would not have dared hosting my own blog! Boy wordpress sure has changed since those early day’s of Elaine’s Place. Not sure about the retirement part…my NJ nursing license finally came through yesterday! What an ordeal to get licensed in this state. Now if I can just find a nice little part-time nursing job I’ll be happy camper.
