I agree to some extent that is has some privacy issues. That automatic following option of contacts, they could have made it more visible to the users when they launched it. But other from that, actually you have all the options like turn it on or off. So like if your Gmail getting full with your followers commenting in your updates, you can turn off the option of receiving a mail when someone comment on your status. If you like Twitter, then I don’t see any reason why you will not like Google Buzz. It is just like Twitter with more options.
Yeah, they could have launched it standalone. But they are using the Gmail user base to get popularity in quick time

I actually disagree. I don’t like buzz, and I don’t think it was a good idea to integrate it with Gmail. Buzz was just spamming my Gmail account with posts.

You want Google to give a hard time to both Twitter and FaceBook…right?
I just want to see how popular can Buzz become in a short period of time…can it compete Twitter…with Google you never know
