If changing thermal fuse doesn't solve the problem then try changing 'Power Supply Board G1 Complete'. New one costs around $130. I bought used one in eBay at about $50 and it is working fine now.

Thanks Greg in the Desert for the information but it's a little late. I had the same blinking 6 X light. Googled it and did not come up with a solution, waited for a repairman and paid him $165.00 to come out and reset my whatever in the back of the TV, I couldn't see what he was doing, his back was as big as the set and as it was so hot he was perspiring profusely, he got it to work for two days, later it started to blink again, I called the repairman and he wanted another service call to come out, I said that he should come for free since he did nothing the first time, he refused so I told him where to go and it wasn't to church. I fooled with the TV and got the back off, didn't know what I was looking at. I told my wife that I would ditch it before I paid again. Needless to say and with no help, the TV in now laying on the ground in the back of my tractor shed, face down. I bought a new TV from HH Greg and it was not a Sony, thanks Sony for nothing. I'll never buy another Sony anything.

Our batteries fried the charge! I called the company and got no product help, but did get some info.

Fortunately, I was able to swap batteries with the retailer who sold it to me, Liberty Market Place in Pinetop AZ, who I recommend doing business with wholeheartedly!

So, far with the new battery no problem except the charger light never seems to go off. You kind of have to guess if its fully charged and not let it go too long. I read another post somewhere that the charger was a problem.

Also George at Baja scooters, said they wrote the directions wrong.

If I understand correctly:

1) The switch next to the batteries should be "on" to charge. (even though the directs say "off").
2) The battery comes with a charge, even though the instructions don't tell you that. This can contribute to the tendency to overcharge and fry the battery.
3) As mentioned above, charge carefully and Do NOT rely on the charger to either;
     a) stop charging when the battery is full
     b) indicate by changing to a green light when the battery is full.

Sad details on this scooter. Too bad because in theory its a wonderful product. But these flaws make it VERY frustrating and super-tough for me to recommend their brand at all. No wonder Costco isn't carrying them anymore.

thanks for the advice and direction . I completed the brepair in about an hour and saved alot of $.

To sony " go @#$% yorself. High end elecrtonics ? Customer SERVICE is a illusion. The phone rep. seemed to bve following some sort of script designed to direct you to a authorized service repair tech. in my area. She seemed surprised by the 6 redlight code and had no idea as to the cause.

We were fortunate to find You!!

After 3 months my scooter batteries fried...melted. I called Baja and received no help, I was told that the battteries were either bad or the charger is bad. They would not replace the batteries so I ended up paying lot of money to purchase 4 new batteries and now the charger will not charge them. I have to buy a new charger now. I purchased the bike at Costco and to my amazement they would not cover it either. The bike was fun to ride unfortunately I have only been able to ride it a couple times and since it has set since the batteries melted and unable to charge the new ones I am not a happy camper here. I wish I would never had purchase the bike.

Just rcv'd my replacement wind sensor and after resyncing it worked. I put silicon tape over their tape to further seal the seam between the top and bottom. Tara at Lacrosse was extremely helpful and knew exactly what the problem was with the sensor having water in it. Now just have to wait until we get rain to see how long it holds up.

Received the replacement for the 2810 thermo sensor yesterday. Install/re-sync went OK. During the setup, we did get a bit a rain which I was able to record. Although it wasn't much, it looks like what Lacrosse did was change (retard) the rain report. Comparing it to the Rainwise, this is how they reported:

Rainwise Lacrosse
.01 .00
.02 .02
.03 .02
.04 .04
.05 .04

You get the idea. Will keep an eye on it during a 'real' rain event.

It didn't turn out as great as I hoped and wasn't level. This was due to my own preparation mistakes. For the master bedroom, I ended up hiring someone.
