Hottentot is pretty good I thought. We'll clean up some transitions but overall pretty good jams. Old 97 could use some harmonies at the end! And yes another solo, maybe with a different rythym in the background. I am practicing my feel good about Hood harmonies so get ready.

Awesome. I started it a little slow. The last Mr. Miner is awesome when we harmonize. The wierd-timing part in the middle needs more space, it's a little blurry, but we hit the timing.
Still need to find rythym better during the jam, when one of us finds a cool groove we need to all follow, but around 11:00 it starts to blow up, this is us at our best. Nice. At the next show, we need someone to launch glowsticks during the jam. They can sprinkle down on us.

The drums in DATM don't bother me. But, it is up to you because you have to play them. =) Maybe it is just because that's how I wrote it. I think it gives it a nice dancy feel and a good quick build-up. I know if I was in the crowd and heard that I would start dancing.

Damnit, playing a rave would really be perfect for us. We could blow that up.

I'm not sure about the opening drums in DATM. It works in Possum because they hold the last note forever, without switching cords, which creates all the tension. Maybe we do that or I can switch it a bit. I see some cool vocal harmonies in this one!
I will mess around with Baby Explosion (i can't say that without laughing) and the ending part in 4/4. Ryan, can you send me the timing I wrote down and left on the music stand?

Jason, how about Brophy's that next Friday? The 30th? We should be ready by then, maybe we would open for Jeff's band. Or the Tuesday of that week for a warm up, opening for your band.

That part in Hood is great because Fishman eventually does find the timing. It gives it very nice tension and then when he does play with the timing it 'resolves.'
