I’ve been to Cafe Athens twice, and neither time have I been impressed. The food is not authentic at all. The last time my wife and I went, we left disgusted. We described it as Greek fast food. If McDonalds came out with Greek food, this is what they would be serving. Aside from the food, the decor is hokey; all they did was throw up a couple of cliche Greek posters and busts. When you put it all together, it’s kind of insulting.

If you want great, authentic Mediterranean food, then go to Yum Yum Restaurant. Get the regular combination, it’s the best ($11.25 and it’s huge).

I attended A&M in 54 (BS Forestry) and MS in 1958 (Forest Management)
My second son as born in Larimer County Hospital. I have many memories of places like the Town Pump and the Hauf Brau, outside of town..We used to enjoy Poudre Valley Creamery and their good ice cream. Fort Collins, a great community.
