The giraffe, can Evolution explain the development of the Giraffe's neck? This is my pick. Remember the field of Science requires testable reproduce and observable material to make its case. Just for record, Macro Evolution has NEVER been observed, tested or reproduced. All animals in the fossil record are fully formed, so who is making the assumptions here?

I reviewed my words and that of the few comments, and I don't see any description of black people or "your father was a cown (or "clown?"). Perhaps you have the wrong blog?

At any rate, Hagee is a nut. http://i.imgur.com/3he86.jpg

And this is the nutbar that thinks New Orleans "had a level of sin" that deserved a wrath of a fictitious god. Listen to this nutter's NPR interview for a very frightening example of his nuttiness. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=6097362

Hagee is nuttier than a fruitcake.

Ps I vote democrat and I am a chistian. What that fool did was blasphemy and an embrassment to the people who need help. Someone is about to pour their heart out for healing and you are going to say some dumb stuff like your father was a cown? Also the words you used to describe black people shows your arrogance.

My agreement with Craig is extremely limited. And, while I'm not sure which of the minimal agreements I share with Craig you're referring to, any non-sequitor discussed above originates from Craig himself. I completely disagree with Craig that non-primate mammals are unaware of their pain. I completely disagree with Craig that the pre-frontal cortex is absent in non-mammal primates. And I disagree with him that, even if it were, that this would indicate a lack of awareness of pain. In addition, I disagree with Craig that, even if a lack of awareness of pain existed, that it would be any evidence of a god.

Please elucidate on my alleged agreement (there are some minor agreements I probably share with Craig) and upon any non-sequitor I may have made so that I might revise my logic.

So... you agree with Craig and then draw up some non-sequitor based on the notion that awareness of pain in humanoid primates is not minimized enough for God to exist... =\

Hey, at least you got another hit on the blog ^^

Aquinas advocated that heretics be "separated from the Church by excommunication, but also to be severed from the world by death ( Summa Theologiae 1265-1272 II:II 11:3). Contemporaries of Aquinas, like Roger Bacon, were advocating empiricism over "church morality" in dealing with the world. So Aquinas was moved to position Christianity as more of a vehicle for all thinking, and very less inclined to give any enlightened points of view a chance.

Anything but a literalistic or mythical approach to Christianity is disingenuous. Either you accept Christian literature as myth (which they are) or you perceive them as doctrine (which, while misguided, is at least honest). Those that find a more liberal reading of Christian materials like the old and new testaments, are left with the task of cherry-picking their "truths" should they attempt to use this literature for guiding their lives and worldviews. They are forced to reject slavery, death penalties for imagined offenses, and -one hopes- bigotry and prejudice towards homosexuals.

At least you aren't trying to tell us that "theosophy" is a real concept!

Merriest of Holidays to you!
