Maybe not after 18, but it’s a daily occurrence from me to my kids. Not something “they” tell you about in preparation for being a parent.

Having cats must be that way sometimes, I would imagine.

Being good at writing requires such a thick skin and perseverance. I’m amazed by the people who stick with it.

Writing requires enough confidence to make it through the first mountains of discouragement. You almost have to have someone behind you giving you encouragement.

Not sure about the praise for poop thing, though. I mean, after 18.

Shawn - I moved from Findlay to the Minneapolis area last year. Sorry to say (from your perspective) I am a Pittsburgh native, hence the Steelers support. No local-boy bandwagon-jumping for me.

Bill, I see from one of your posts that you live in or near Findlay. Small world as I live in Fostoria. Glad to see someone else in the area has a blog. I see from your site we have something else in common: two beautiful children (I have two boys, ages 8 and 4). However, I saw your entire family decked out in Steelers gear….ugh! Heh, I’m a Browns fan and have been my whole life. Sure, go ahead and pity me. Actually, I was glad to see Pittsburgh win the Super Bowl, but let’s keep that between us.

Nice to “meet” you. I’ll stop back now and then.

Thanks for the response. I can’t say that I was complaining, just noting what I’d seen so far. I didn’t check when the requests were actually made by your bot - for all I know at the moment they could have been made just before I ran my log reporting.

I’m really more curious as to how the process works for new sites to be crawled and indexed and am just recording my observations in public. I will keep checking Feedster because it is of interest to me. I don’t think there’s much you can do since I did not provide the site URL I was discussing.

Again, thanks for the response. I like it when companies keep their finger on what people are saying about them.
