As a female, when I see a get in clothes that fit, are clean and look good together, it tells me that he doesn’t need someone to be his mother and take care of him. He can clearly take care of himself. It’s actually very close to the slut rule, if a guy doesn’t care enough about himself to put effort in his appearance (which most girls do everyday), how can we take them seriously if they don’t even seem to respect themselves to wear something clean out? Does that make sense? Is it wrong after spending time trying to look good for a man, to expect the same thing?

How interesting that all the advice to men focused on how they should look, while the advice to women centered mostly on how they should act. Is there a message here that women are shallow and men have to look a certain way so they can snag the surface focused opposite sex? In contrast, men are smart and discerning, so behave like a confident, put together woman if you want to have successful with a desirable fellow. Hmmm.
