The city was spellbound with the 2 hr performance of these talented actors. Anmol, you've already described the story very well, and I second each and every point of yours. This play is a masterpiece, and is surely a landmark in the history of Indian theater. The mesmerising performances just make you feel like 'Wow! how can they do it so well?!', and its difficult to point a single flaw. And today, it was Lucknow! I’m reading ‘Haroun & the Sea of Tales’. It’s one of the older, lesser known works of Salman Rushdie. It’s primarily for children, but it’s hugely entertaining for all ages! It’s about the son of a story letter (called Shah of Blah!) and his quest to return the ‘gift of the gab’ to his depressed father. He journeys to the planet of ‘Kahani’ and meets the most amazing people. I should be done with it soon and then I’ll write a detailed review :) Oh yes! I’m reading ‘Haroun & the Sea of Tales’.
