<itunes:summary>Welcome to Comic Book Laundry, now syndicated on the Comic Timing feed!

The guys (Chad, Bill, Mike, and Harold) are back to the usual format…and are back to being behind on their books. The guys talk Underwater Welder, Locke & Key, Marvel Ultimates, old DC universe & why DC hates Stephanie Brown. A failed intervention for Chad, and Mike tells us the time he ate a comic book. How could be an episode of CBL with out talking about Craftsman Bolt-On Saves the Justice League and some Rob Liefeld?

Here we go, ladies and gentlemen! The moment you've all been waiting for (maybe) is finally here: it's time for the 2013 Comic Geek Speak Super Show room recording! Live from the Crowne Plaza Reading, Ian is joined by Shawn Pryor of The Black Box (http://www.hhwlod.com/the-black-box/blog), L.O.I. Studios (http://loistudios.com) and Action Lab Entertainment (http://www.actionlabcomics.com/), Julian Lytle (http://www.julianlytle.com/) of Ants (http://ants.julianlytle.com/) and The Ignorant Bliss Podcast (http://ignorant-bliss.com/), Bill English, Mike Yanulavich (Yanni) and Chad Burdette of Comic Book Laundry (http://www.comicbooklaundry.com), Eric Nash aka luckymustard (https://twitter.com/luckymustard), and Raph Soohoo of The Comic Crusader (http://thecomiccrusader.tumblr.com/) and...well, he's Raph. Need I say more?

Topics range from actually discussing Super Show (http://www.cgssupershow.com) all the way to Julian's new raffle prize to Bane's voice via coffee mugs, Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden (http://www.talesofgames.com/related_game/barkley-shut-up-jam-gaiden/) and its sequel (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/talesofgames/barkley-2-an-rpg-sequel-to-barkley-shut-up-and-jam), getting smorgasborded and much much more. Listen, and experience what it's like to drink and hag out with us at Super Show.

Hey, look! It's a full episode of Comic Timing! This time, Brent and Ian are joined by Gabe Perez, who now wanders around the podcasting world aimlessly after Strangers With Comics stopped coming out. In this episode, you'll hear a bunch of conversation about the recent tumultuous changes DC Comics has been dealing with, including entire creative teams leaving books before they are even out. Plus, listen to our take on where Comixology might go next; will Comixology's troubles with downtime lead to a shift in how companies release their digital books? Since this episode was recorded, Marvel reissued their Free 700 Issues offer, but the debate remains valid, as nobody could buy ANY digital books for nearly four full days while their server issues were being resolved.

We also do a little general conversation as usual, including Superior Spider-Man and Avenging Spider-Man, Ian's Brooklyn Public Library woes, the second to last episode of The Walking Dead Season 3, and a bit on The Walking Dead comics now that Ian is 70 or so issues in. Oh, and Gabe's pipes are now clean. I left that part in because it's GOLD!

A very special episode of Comic Timing Extra Point is here! This is an interview that was conducted with the talented and well-versed artist Jim Calafiore (http://www.jimcalafiore.com/) at this year's Comic Geek Speak Super Show (http://www.cgssupershow.com). You may know Jim from such works as Exiles, Deadpool, and Black Panther over at Marvel, as well as Secret Six, Gotham Underground, Batman, and the 2008 Batgirl: Redemption Road miniseries at DC. Now, Jim is working on completing the Kickstarter funded Leaving Megalopolis (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2069222802/leaving-megalopolis) with Gail Simone, as well as his currently running Kickstarter project Crooks & Nannies (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292610292/crooks-and-nannies), which has 5 days left on its campaign. Crooks & Nannies recently met its initial funding goal, but it could still use your support. So get on that!

Further Super Show episodes are to come, including our traditional room recording and the rest of the interviews conducted throughout Super Show weekend.

This year's questions to be answered by the panel are as follows:

	* If you would have told me in 2011 I'd be reading ________ in 2012, I would have called you a liar.
	* I had such high hopes for _________, but now my dreams have been shattered by how bad it was. Seriously, I'm in tears.
	* Of all the Marvel NOW! titles, _________ blew me away. It's a shame ________ couldn't have been this good.
	* Thank you 2012 for giving me _______. Best new title around, period.
	* When they canceled __________, I was incredibly annoyed. When they canceled ___________, I danced for joy.
	* The team of __________ and __________ were the writer/artist team of 2012, without a doubt.
	* __________ was a miniseries/maxiseries that told a complete story even though it only had a few issues to do it with.
	* Penciler of the year has to be __________. Those pages were so damn pretty.
	* Gotta give the independent comics some love! I do so here, as I name ____________ my indie pick of 2012.
	* The collected edition (or OGN) of ___________ was completely worth the price. ____________, not so much.
	* Continuing from last year, __________ was the New 52 title of 2012. However, I did drop _________ as it couldn't keep my interest enough to be saved.
	* I wish I had the writing talent of _________. 2012 was his/her year.
	* Out of all the events in 2012, ___________ was the one that hooked me, line and sinker.
	* If I had to choose a publisher of the year, the honor goes to ____________.
	* When I read the news about ___________, my jaw dropped.
	* Man, _________ was a story arc that completely delivered on its promises.
	* Out of all the creators out there, artist or writer, you could say that ___________ had the best year.
	* _____________ was the character of 2012. Who knew?
	* Going into 2013, I am looking forward to _____________ the most out of Marvel.
	* DC's ________ has me pumped for 2013!

Thanks for a terrific 2012 and for your continued support of the show, and here's to one heck of a 2013!

As you might have guessed, Comic Timing will be set up in Podcast Arena yet again at this year's New York Comic Con (http://www.nycomiccon.com)! Here's a basic idea of where we'll be:

So that's the left-hand side of the main exhibitor hall near the back. There will be signage as well pointing out that you're in Podcast Arena, and there will be a Comic Timing banner up over the booth as well so you can't possibly miss us even if you try!

 <itunes:summary>Part Two of the Supershow (http://www.cgssupershow.com) recording is out!!! This is the one we always look forward to here. Saturday night at the con, Ian rustles up whoever is in the mood to talk and we go completely off the cuff, drink some beers and have a damn good time for two hours or so. This year was no exception. This also means that the views expressed in this episode, negative or positive, are not necessarily the views expressed by any of the individuals involved outside of this here recording. This time we are joined by Julian Lytle (http://www.julianlytle.com/) of Ants (http://ants.julianlytle.com/), Martheus Wade (http://martheus.deviantart.com/) of Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa (http://www.toshigawa.com/), Shawn Pryor of the PKD Media Blackbox (http://hhwlod.com/pkd-media-black-box/blog) and Action Lab (http://www.actionlabcomics.com), Jon Carroll of the Carroll Chronicles (http://hhwlod.com/search?searchword=carroll+chronicles), Dean Stahl of Headlocks and Headaches (http://www.headlocksandheadaches.com/), Bill English of Sounded Good on Paper (http://www.soundedgoodonpaper.com/), Raph Soohoo of Geeks Unite! (http://geeksunitenetwork.wordpress.com/) and Chad Burdette AKA Unknown Fanboy. We talk everything from the show itself to Third and Spruce, vanilla sundaes, Power Rangers, wrestling and Captain Planet Swamp Thing. Totally worth every minute, people.

 <itunes:summary>Ho ho ho! Merry Shawn Pryor! Raph (http://raphradia.wordpress.com/) and I celebrate the holidays by spreading some cheer and promoting Mr. Pryor's latest venture, Action Lab Entertainment (http://www.actionlabcomics.com/), which we realized stands for ALE. Action Lab is in the midst of a Kickstarter Campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/23808096/action-lab-entertainment-presents-fracture) to get their first book, Fracture, the financing it needs to cover distribution and printing costs. So please, if you enjoy Shawn Pryor and Comic Timing, put in some money to help on out! We also discuss the future of PKD Media (http://www.pkdmedia.com), the rest of the books set to be released out of Action Lab and Raph, Shawn and I give picks for who would be on our Mt. Rushmore of Comics. Check it out!

Mark has been the writer on such books as Kingdom Come, The Flash, Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, JLA, The Incredibles, Potter's Field and countless others. Today, we focus on his upcoming collaboration with Stan Lee (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udiZxXZL1Yc) and Chris Hardin on Stan Lee's The Traveler, a new book out of Boom. We also discuss the other two books Stan is collaborating on, we give a quick overview of Irredeemable and Incorruptible for those who have yet to pick it up, and we touch on Mark's current Amazing Spider-Man storyline "Origin of the Species," which will conclude the Brand New Day Era of the title. Thanks to Cameron at DCBS for setting up the interview, and major thanks for Mark Waid for chatting with us! We had a lot of fun and can't wait to see him and the rest of Boom at the New York Comic Con (http://www.nycomiccon.com).
